From the stunning leather, to the peep toe, to the gathering to the most perfectly placed, perfectly sized bow ever created. These are amazingly delicious, so much so, that I'm drooling over here. Damn you Valentino! Damn you!

Shopbop & A Shoebox

Do you remember waaaaay back when I posted about stepping outside of my shoebox? Well unfortunately I never took the plunge but I am bound and determined to plunge head first into fall 09. Completely identified with this statement made by one of my favoritist fashionistas.

Report Signature - Loring

I can't remember the last time I coveted a shoe with a lug sole. It was definitely in the late 80's possibly early 90's. LOL! These are straight up H.O.T. Most def. outside of my shoe comfort zone. I am loving the contrasting suede ankle cuff slightly covering the heel with multiple buckles and the cut outs on the sides. These are crazy sexy. Don't know if I could pull them off but I'd sure love to try.

I'm bringing you two very similar looks here but can you guess which pair is $220 and which pair is $498? I have to say I am really digging this look. Cowboy boot(s?)(ies?) with an edge. How adorable would either of these be paired with leggings and a fab little tunic. I could definitely picture adding a chunky knit or gorg blazer for fall. The studded detailing sends a don't mess with me vibe but the cowboy styling says "Hey. I'm down home, I'm approachable." Love that!

I received an email from shopbop.com today. They have pretty-fied their website. Lot's o' improvements to be had. Much more user friendly I.M.H.O. What is the first thing I decided to check out? I am so digging these. There are a lot of really key details here. From the ruching and covered buttons at the vamp to those oh so delightful ruffles on the heel. Reminds me of those cute little ruffled diaper covers. Oh so girly and sweet.

Stuart Weitzman - Swag

Ugh, wishing these were in the Nordstrom half yearly sale. If they were they would so be mine. This is just the pump to replace my current grays. A very classic Stuart Weitzman shape with the cutouts, the platform, and that patent leather covered heel. Just what this little fashionista needs for trekking around campus. Do you think it's possible to will something to go on sale? Maybe these days it is...

I'm searching for a new gray pump. I know I should choose a more classic shape and I more than likely will but for now I am eyeballing the hell out of these.

Flirty, sexy, and completely impractical. I know I should be going for a more "classic" look, blah, blah, blah... but these bad boys are hot. I love the multiple ankle straps blending together to create a cuffed effect and I simply adore the hidden platform and 4.5 inch heel. Screw being practical right??? Especially when you can look hot instead!

THE Shoe of the Summer

I like my job but I love the people I work with even more. Naturally I am apt to notice the shoes my fellow co-workers are sporting. In fact, I am proud to say, that some even run to me to show me their shoes if they feel they are wearing a particularly cute pair that day. I, of course, picked up on the fact that several ladies around the office were wearing what appeared to be the exact same shoe and thought what a great opportunity it would be for a "photo op". I quickly sent an email out and asked the ladies if they owned said shoe, could they please wear it on Monday. I would really like to see these in person. I'm hoping the pinky magenta hue is a little richer up close. This is truly a stunner of a shoe. I love the tonal patent platform and 5 inch heel. As soon as you throw these bad boys on with your LBD you'll be fiesta-ing the night away. I can tell you one thing this girl is never gonna get tired of flirty little feminine details on her shoes. And how thankful I was to dear Paris for knocking off the Valentino pair that haunts my dreams. Well I was browsing around heels.com (I seriously can't even begin to tell you how much I heart that site) and came across them again. In black and in this color.

Yikes! I mean that in a good way. I frigging LOVE these. And they will be mine. Oh yes. They will be mine. And since I just bought a pair of black peep toes in the form of a unicorn I thought it only seemed right that I purchase these in this oh so delicious blue hue. They are currently residing on my wish list over at heels.com. Don't you go buying all of the 6.5s out from under me!

So, So, Sad

Remember last week when I said I was going to be in trouble because I bought these...



Well I received them on Friday. There was a beautiful, glorious package sitting right next to the front door when I got home from work. Don't you love that? I brought them to my bedroom and tore into the box. The packaging was so lovely. I lifted the lid of that oh so sweet black and white striped shoe box. I was beyond excited to have finally purchased my first pair of L.A.M.B. shoes thanks to Rue La La. The first thing I saw was the dust bag. *Sigh* and then I pulled away the tissue and there they were in all of their black leather glory. I reached in, took them out of the box, kicked off my shoes and slid my foot oh so gracefully into my new shoes. I buckled the straps and..... CRAP! CRAP! CRAP! CRAP! They're too effing small. WTF L.A.M.B.????? So now they are on their back to Rue La La.

I am praying that these fit.

If not I will be devastated. Dev.as.stat.ed.

Sequins!

I heart sparkly things. Sparkle looks to be a key trend for Fall 09. But don't just take my word for it. The folks over at Bergdorf Goodman think so too. Well I'm here to show you how to do it on a dime. I saw these little lovelies and just HAD to feature them. Me thinks they will be making their way into my closet very soon. Oh I can already picture them with a fab little dress and leggings.

My inbox has been inundated with emails from retail stores touting the hot trends for fall 2009. One of those trends is cutout booties. This particular cutout bootie by Steve Madden has me written all over it. From the color (oh man, especially that color), Gah! I must add some electric blue to my shoe wardrobe stat. To the cone shaped heel and those sexy cutouts dotting the sides. What do you say ladies? Are you planning on adding a cutout bootie to your fall shoe collection?

I was on Piperlime taking an early look at some of their newly arrived fall styles when I came across these. These are truly, truly the epitome of a "classic black pump". The platform, the slightly curved heel shape, the almond toe, the black patent leather. This bad boy has all of the right elements. Now while I did find them on piperlime they are sold out of quite a few sizes so I took the liberty of doing a search and found them on zappos here. Just in case you love them so much you HAVE to have them. Now I will admit at $200 they aren't cheap but this is a shoe that you will find yourself reaching for over and over again. So much so that the cost to wear ratio will work itself out in no time. From the looks of it these also appear to have a nicely padded insole, perfect for strutting your stuff in comfort and style.

Oops!

I sure hope everyone had a safe and lovely 4th! Mine was pretty uneventful. A girl's night in with wine, movies (the shoot em up, laugh out loud kind) and ice cream. Just helping one of my besties beat the break up blues. Nothing like laughs, ice cream, wine and guns to get over a stinky boy.

I was a naughty girl last week. It's a good thing my husband doesn't read my blog very often. I made not one, but two shoe purchases. The first pair you saw on Thursday. OMG. Can't wait to get them. The second pair is thanks to Rue La La and Molly. You see Molly is a reader of the blog who just so happened to give me a heads up that Rue La La was featuring L.A.M.B. shoes. Which turned out to be a blessing AND a curse, cuz I bought these.
