A Broken Promise

My photographer was out of the office on Friday so I'm afraid the next "Walking A Mile in My Shoes" post will have to wait as she is out of the office today too. So to make up for it I thought I'd post some shoes I've featured in the past that are now on SALE!!!!

Rock & Repbulic - Lotus (NOW $239.99 down from $295.00)

Steve Madden - Fauntain (NOW $59.99 from $79.00)

Don't miss out on this opportunity to save, save, save. Happy shopping everyone!

Going to the Chapel

Chinese Laundry - Daisey

If the hubs and I were planning to renew our vows this year these babies would be on the short list. A gorgeous shape that is sure to not only look sexy on but would be flattering to boot. I can just imagine how the baguette shaped rhinestones will sparkle as you walk down the aisle. And, bonus, it's topped off with a delightfully delicate bow. I do.

Elle Spring Survival Guide - Mixed Metallics

The March issue of Elle magazine features tons of shoe styles that should be on every girls must have list. I thought I would bring them to you recessionista style. First up. Mixed metallics. And both for less than $100.

Show off your retro side with this kicky t-strap by Chinese Laundry. Bronze and gold snake embossed leather intermingle to create a gorgeous wave design making its way from the vamp, to the t-strap, to the heel. You're sure to channel your inner starlet while jetting around town in these. Delicious.

Jennica - Nine West

A soft, feminine gladiator in a multitude of metallic hues. Triangular cut outs inch their way up the foot culminating in a buckled ankle strap. Somehow this sandal manages to evoke both femininity and something harder. I can't quite put my finger on it. But I like it.

Sodoku Sandal - Chinese Laundry

I really really love this sandal by Chinese Laundry. I certainly don't own anything like it. I just can't decide which color I want. Of course for the price I could just get both but I am not the type of girl to own the same shoe in several different colors. I have never been interested in that. That is not the case for my mom and I'm sure many of you out there. But it's just this weird, silly quirk I have. So I'm going to leave the decision up to you all. Which color do you prefer?

Sodoku Sandal

The sodoku sandal has such a unique vibe. I love that there is the tiniest hint of a wedge. Hey, a little height can go a long way. Am I right? The shape is chic but the ribbon tie adds just the right touch of girlie appeal. You're sure to put your best fashion foot forward when you step out in these.

Bedazzled!

Well my dear readers I have been scouring the internets this weekend looking at shoe, after shoe, after shoe and I've been taking notes. I've been searching high and low looking for all of the latest styles and at what is sure to be hot for Spring 2009. I've noticed lots of embellishments including studs and jewels. I found girly details like ruffles and bows. And the gladiator is still everywhere you turn. I've got lots to share with you over the next few days. This week I will feature shoes with embellishments. Designers have been breaking out their bedazzlers. Jewels, studs, and sequins guaranteed.

JLo Shoes - Reva

The JLo Reva Pump seems to be channeling the YSL tribute but adds a little sizzle with gold sequins. This is one fiery shoe and with a fab platform and 5 inch heel you are bound to garner all kinds of attention. These would look gorgeous paired with black tights for now and then come spring pair them with a tan.

Verses Sandal - Chinese Laundry

A delicious jeweled diamond adorns the vamp of this sweet sandal by Chinese Laundry. Featured here in a fabulous topaz hue this looks like a great shoe that will carry you all around town in comfort and style. You all know by now that I can hardly feature a shoe that doesn't give one some kind of boost even if it's in the form of a mere 1 1/4 inches.

I love, love, love this studded sandal by Vince Camuto. Ugh. That rich buttery hue and straps adorned with studs in just about every shape and size. This is a great sandal that will allow you to embrace your inner rock chick but the dijon color really keeps these feminine too. This shoe is definitely going on my list.
