Many of you out there may not be familiar with where I stole the above post title (Ugh, I'm so revealing my geeky love of musical theatre) . There was this idea back in the day that if a young woman was to wear black patent leather shoes with a dress or skirt her undergarments or lack there of would reflect on her shoes. I can't say that I've subscribed to that theory but I can say a great pair of black patent leather shoes will never go out of style. Pair with tights in a contrasting color for an updated look or wear them with a cocktail frock for all of the upcoming holiday soirees.
