Look What I Just Bought!!!!!

Thanks to that dear little enabler Ms. Diabolina. She kindly forwarded me an email she received from Bluefly the other day featuring the sites top 10 picks telling me to check out #7. I'm sure it will come as no surprise that #7 was this hot little pair of Pour La Victoire sandals the two of us had been coveting. I quickly clicked on the link and was mucho disappointed to discover that my size was not available. Fast forward to a few days later... I received an email from Bluefly, naturally clicked on the link touting Report Signature (Yes, I said Report Signature. I like this brand too!) shoes for less scrolled down the list and saw they still had my shoes. Clicked on the link and guess what???? They now magically had my size. Yay!!!!! They just shipped today. I promise to post pics once they arrive.

For a look at the post where I first blogged about these little beauties. Check it out here. And if you love them as much as I do, love scoring yourself an amazing deal as much as I do, and are a size 9.5. Just click on the link to get yourself a pair.

Elle Spring Survival Guide - Gold

Gleaming gold patent leather delights in this strappy sandal by Anne Klein. Delicate straps intertwine into an intricate woven pattern at the vamp. An adjustable buckled slingback and 1/2 inch platform combine with a 3.5 inch stiletto heel. A wonderfully feminine shape, this sandal will perk up even the dreariest of neutrals.

Unlisted by Kenneth Cole - Lounge Wear

Snake embossed gold straps? Yes, please. The Lounge Wear Sandal definitely amps up the attitude. This is a sexier shape which is sure to appeal to those of us who like to take a walk on the wild side. The cork heel and platform looks to have flecks of gold from the pictures, although I can't be too sure. The t-strap is always a shape that has appeal to me. These would look gorgeous paired with your faux summer tan. Wouldn't you say?

Flirty and Fabulous Friday

Valentino Bow D'Orsay

"Hello my lovely, it's so nice to make your acquaintance."

Now this particular Valentino shoe style has been around for awhile and I've been quite taken by it. However it wasn't until today that I discovered this particular little gem. Paint it gold, encrust the bow in rhinestones (not just rhinestones, "crystals") and that's it. I'm officially smitten. If I could buy these, I would wear them everyday. And then stare at my feet all day. Seriously. LOL! My husband always tells me that he can't wait until he's making enough money so that I don't have to work and then I can just get drunk and stare at my ring(wedding) all day. If I had these I could stare at my feet too : )

Elle Spring Survival Guide - Wedge

It's certainly no secret that wedges are huge right now. I've talked about this Spring trend on several occasions but this time I'm bringing them to you on the cheap. If you're on a major budget Payless has some gorgeous options which I blogged about here. Today I bring you my favorite picks from heels.com.

Love, love, love this wedge by Diba. There are some great haute little details that make these look far more expensive than they are. From the bronze medallions lining the t-strap to the partially snake embossed wedge. If bronze ain't your thing don't worry, these also come in gold.

Mia, Suri Wedge

Combine two hot trends in one with this wedge and it's tribal inspired look. A thick platform intermingles with delicate brown suede straps and neutral toned beading to create a shoe that's anything but ordinary.

Luichiny, Savy Sue

Sexy, sexy. From the shimmering python embossed upper, to the multi-buckled straps, to the sky-high 5 inch wedge. I absolutely adore this sultry shoe AND it's fabulous price.

Elle Spring Survival Guide - Fringe

Ah, fringe. It seems to me that this is a look that you all either love OR hate. I will tell you that the fringe is sticking around at least through next fall so love it or hate it it's here to stay... at least for a little while.

Kenneth Cole Reaction, Know-Veau

A dual layer of fringe tickling the top of your foot in a spot-on neutral. This sweet little sandal by Kenneth Cole is just the ticket to get me on board with fringe. Delicate leather straps and a delightful stiletto heel equal instant sex appeal. I simply adore these.

Mia - Donella

Oh how I love the mini wedge. I was first on a mission for a mini wedge a couple of years ago and I'm so happy to be seeing them around even now. Once again we have layers of fringe but this time they are making their way from ankle to toes. The added detail of the contrast stitching is such a nice added touch. This is a great little shoe at a great little price.

Elle Spring Survival Guide - Tribal

Next up for the Elle Spring Survival Guide - Tribal. Brought to you once again, recessionista style. Enjoy.

A gladiator styled sandal with wonderful top stitching evoking a Native American vibe. I love the contrast of colors between the tobacco hued leather and red and baby blue thread. The tie in the back gives these just a hint of femininity while the multi strapped cuff toughens them up in just the right way.

Dollhouse, Jacosa

Multi strapped upper embellished with intricate beading. Just imagine how you'll shimmer and sparkle your way across the dance floor. And you could do some dancing in these. Between the stacked wood heel and 3/4 inch platform your comfort is all but guaranteed.

: (

I'm sorry guys. No post today. Between a death in family last night and a head cold that is knocking me for a loop I'm having a hard time focusing on shoes. I promise to back on with an extra special Saturday post.

Elle Spring Survival Guide - Neon Snake

I love me some snake print. A pair of snake print shoes in a neutral will couple well with just about anything in your wardrobe. If you've already got yourself of pair of this "go to" basic why don't you up the ante and get a pair with a pop of color. Neon color, that is.

J. Renee - Christiana

This is a great peep toe pump by J. Renee. Neon brights mix to create a cornea searing look. These aren't for the feint of heart. I love this color combo although I know it's not for everyone. Pair with even your most blah basics and instantly boost them into overdrive. Just be prepared to get the once over from fellow fashionistas.

This shoe by Naughty Monkey is just about perfect. A pretty neutral infused with neon brights. The bright blue hue is gorgeous. A lovely curved stacked heel and that hidden platform will all but ensure that comfort is key, despite that 4.5 inch heel.

Lust-Worthy Wednesday

Holy. Delicious. Shoe. Batman.

Speechless. Well almost.

I am almost at a loss for words on this one. Throw on your Target LBD and these and everyone will be thinking you're strutting around in Chanel. Holy hell. The details here are exquisite. The delicate layered ruffles trailing down the heel and the flowers dotting their way down the top of the foot. All in silk. Crinkled silk and embossed leather. Utterly amazing.

I'm sorry to say I don't have the first clue on where to find them online. Looks like you'll have to visit your nearest brick and mortar if you are so lucky to have one in your town. What I wouldn't give to see these beauties in person.

Elle Spring Survival Guide - Mixed Metallics

The March issue of Elle magazine features tons of shoe styles that should be on every girls must have list. I thought I would bring them to you recessionista style. First up. Mixed metallics. And both for less than $100.

Show off your retro side with this kicky t-strap by Chinese Laundry. Bronze and gold snake embossed leather intermingle to create a gorgeous wave design making its way from the vamp, to the t-strap, to the heel. You're sure to channel your inner starlet while jetting around town in these. Delicious.

Jennica - Nine West

A soft, feminine gladiator in a multitude of metallic hues. Triangular cut outs inch their way up the foot culminating in a buckled ankle strap. Somehow this sandal manages to evoke both femininity and something harder. I can't quite put my finger on it. But I like it.

Piperlime Sale

Count Down to Saint Pat's

I don't even think you can begin to understand how EXCITED I am for Saint Patrick's Day. What better way to celebrate than with shoes in colors of the Irish flag. Well I can think of a better way. It may start with traditional Irish music, cheese and onion tart, chocolate chip scones, Baileys and coffee, and then might be followed by Guinness, a parade in Dogtown, more Guinness, with the strong possibility of ending with corned beef in some way, shape or form. That's what my day of drunken debauchery looks like. If you aren't so lucky then the next best thing is shoes. With free overnight shipping from Piperlime. Your feet can be surrounded by the luck o' the Irish in no time.

Emma Pink, Laria

I absolutely adore this wedge. The kelly green polka dot upper, the criss cross straps, the peep toe, and the buckled ankle strap. Sweetly feminine, these would even be good for a day of standing, drinking, and parade watching in comfort AND style.

I am a big fan of Boutique 9 especially after purchasing these this past fall. The quality of materials is really wonderful for the price. This structural sandal has a lot of really fab elements. From the uniquely shaped partially covered wood heel to the snake embossed nubuck leather and the delightful woven details at the vamp.

Vince Camuto, Basso

So simple and chic. This hot little gladiator sandal by Vince Camuto features some fun details. The stud accent, the sleek and shiny patent leather, and the metallic capped toe. This shoe is sure to be your go to for the season and will add the perfect pop of color to your spring neutrals.

Two Twofers in One Week???

Well due to the post on LuckyToes yesterday you get two shoes for the price of one today! Yay! And while I can't garner that kind of deal when it comes to purchasing said shoes at least you get to look at and possibly consider purchasing two pair.

Now while I can't get you that buy one get one deal I am directing you to a site where you can get this fast shoe for a fabulous price. I originally spotted these beauties on endless.com where they are $219.95. A hefty price to pay, especially these days. But click on the link and find them for $139.99 at onlineshoes.com. Quite a savings, eh? But enough about the cost let's talk about how hot these shoes are. The hot pink and black color combo is incredibly feminine and sexy. And those studs!!! Who says you can't be tough AND sexy? I love the playful shape and that striped insole too. So much fun.

Pour La Victoire Paige

The Pour La Victoire Paige sandal in this amazing sea green hue immediately caught my eye. A fabulous little shape that I've been seeing more and more. I adore the contrast between the sweet braided strap, curvy shape and that wide strap with the studs encased in leather making it's way across the top of the foot. Utterly magnificent.

Hump Day - The Studs Continue...

Just for fun I googled "Hump Day and Studs". I'm going to be attracting a whole new crop of readers with this post title. Heh,heh! So... Welcome!

This shoe makes me think of this song by Mr. Sexy Back himself. Cause you know when you are walking down the street that's what all of those boys will be saying. These bad boys are crazy hot! The color, first of all, is TO. DIE. FOR. They also come in white and black but why mess with those "standard" neutrals when you can step out in these. The studs, the platform, the patent leather, the 4 3/4 inch stiletto heel... Damn girl!

Stud Week - Twofer Tuesday

Tuesday, Tuesday, Tuesday! For one day only two pairs of studded shoes for your viewing(and perhaps purchasing)pleasure. We're going crazy folks! Craaaaaaazzzzyyyy! Be there!
(Sorry. I just had to add that last sentence in. Isn't that what they always say after those ads?)

I'm not sure what the powers that be over at Guess were thinking when they named this shoe because it certainly does not remind me of winter. That cool hue does remind me of the beach and a crystal clear blue ocean. I am absolutely loving the tonal studs. A detail I have noticed on some other selections as well. A delightfully sexy shape this little "winter" wedge will be just perfect for summer.

Generama, Kenneth Cole

Natural hued, distressed leather gives a new attitude to this gladiator by Kenneth Cole. I think the color kind of gives them a feminine vibe and the studs really boost these into overdrive. A back zip allows for easy on and off. Perfect for throwing on for a quick run to the store or a night out on the town.

Stud Week

Stud week? Is that like shark week? Heh, heh. You know you want em. You know you want to get some studs this season. Endless.com is featuring a wealth of studs. I loved so many of the styles featured that I thought I'd feature them all week. Oh. I'm sorry. Did you think I was referring to something else? Of course you didn't. This is a shoe blog afterall. So here we go. My top picks in studs. All week.

Modern Vintage - Thammy

Aye, Mami! I AH-dore these. Ugh, I'm not adoring the price but let's not let that affect our admiration. I must admit that before I started this blog, I'm not so sure if I would have been all hot and bothered over these like I am now. I really feel that my taste has evolved. I want to steer myself toward new fashion heights and could certainly do so with these. A combination of soft supple leather and a triangle shaped studded t-strap. Then add the wide ankle wrap and that cool wedge. There may be some cyber stalking involved with these. Just waiting patiently for the price to drop. I know they'd be worth the wait.

More Lace-ups????

I know you may be sick of the lace up pump. Or maybe not. But I feel like I've been featuring this particular style of shoe A LOT. Apparently it's not bothering me that much because I'm featuring it again. I can't help it. I am being drawn to the lace up pump. It's calling me. Not on the phone. It's more through subliminal messages. And it's working.

Enzo Angiolini Felissa

Multi leather straps entwine to create a marvelous caged heel. This pretty little sandal by Enzo Angiolini has all of the right elements for Spring. I love the large cut out details on either side of the heel and the zippered back. Most especially I love that the lace up makes its way up the foot to tie at the ankle. This is a detail I don't remember seeing in the other lace ups I've featured. Don't need another black sandal crowding your closet? This comes in silver as well.

Shoe Clearance at Nordstrom

I received an email from Nordstrom today touting their shoe clearance sale. Amazingly enough I found some options available that are hip to the Spring trends. See below for my top picks.

Enzo Angiolini - Trinity

Trend: Huarache

This sassy, strappy sandal by Enzo Angiolini is just what a girl needs for those warm Spring and hot Summer days. This comes in a variety of colors so if brown ain't yo thang then perhaps you would like them in black, or silver, or white. Woven leather and a buckled ankle strap all for $59.90.

Facade - Patrice

Trend - Wedge

A croc embossed leather upper tops off a 4.5 inch wedge. The peep toe and criss cross straps at the vamp make this shoe perfect for Spring and Summer. This chic little wedge pump will pair so well with some wide leg jeans and flirty ruffled tank. Now only $76.90.

Rubii Platform - Steve Madden

Trend - Fringe

I don't know about you all but I have been seeing this style of shoe everywhere. The more I see it. The more I like it. A fabulously cheeky pump, you're either gonna love or hate that fringe wrapped ankle strap. This is wonderfully nude hue that will all but guarantee you legs for days. And the price? It's just right. $64.90

Steve Madden - Mellisa

Trend - Studs

Patent leather, and grommets, and studs, oh my! From the straps, to the platform, to the 4 and 3/4 inch heel you will definitely find yourself stepping out in style and all for a mere $64.90.

Harajuku Lovers

They're here! They're here! OMG Celine has been talking about the arrival of Harajuku Lovers at Macys but, of course, I haven't seen them here yet. Anyhoo, I was trolling around heels.com and there is a big feature on their home page. Check out these ultra fab-u-lous designs courtesy of Celine (aka The Shoe Girl) and Gwen Stefani. I am certainly going to pick myself up a pair and you should too. Be the first to sport these bad boys around town and all of your friends will turn green with envy. Now which pair to buy, hmmm... Oh well, I'll let you help me decide. Which is your fave?

More coral hued shoes to haunt my dreams but this one may just make its way into my closet. Delightfully feminine with that cream ribbon woven throughout culminating in a pretty bow tied at the ankle. Yet decidedly chic with a 2 inch platform and a 5 inch wedge heel.

Harajuku Lovers - Leah

I love all of the playful details in this sandal. From the navy patent leather, to the delicate ankle and t-strap, to the freshly decorated vamp. I heart Harajuku Lovers. Why keep it a secret when you can wear it on your toes?

Harjuku Lovers - Layland

A fab little flat sandal in a refreshing shade of sea foam green. It's the color that really gets me here... and the suede pom pom adornments. I love those too! Pair these with a simple knit dress and let the shoe be the center of attention. Add a couple more key accessories and voila you'll be ready for a night out on the town.

You Are Now Free to Move About the Country

Tocai Heel, Report Signature

Delicious coral hued two toned sandals brought to you by Report Signature. The Tocai heel is a seriously sexy shoe. From it's wooden platform and 4 3/4 inch heel to the shiny patent leather combined with that rich pebbled leather. Those glimmering silver buckles evoke visions of airplane seat belts hence the post title but that just adds to their uniqueness. Ugh, man this is painful. There are way too many shoes going on the list this season. How on earth is a girl to choose?
