Prestige in Lace

Carlos by Carlos Santana - Prestige

I think I've featured this sassy little Carlos by Carlos Santana style before. But this lace version is Phenomenal with a capital P. That's right! Love, love, love these. So sweet, so sexy and perfect for a romantic evening with the love of your life or a flirty night on the town with all your favorite gal pals. It's hard to tell from the pictures but it looks like the lace is overlaid a nude satin which makes these look way more expensive than they are. It's all about looking good ladies. Isn't it?

Glow in the Dark

Carlos by Carlos Santana - Glow

I originally spied these in black on the shoes.com facebook page and was planning on blogging about them but then I saw them in this gorgeous, smokey gray and well that plan went out the window. I am not a gal who can resist a bootie in gray. Ever. I am dying to see these in person. I am dying to try them on, pet them, prance in them, strut in them, and hand my debit card over for them. And you can bet I'll be glowing the whole way home.
Hey! I just found out that today only shoes.com is offering 20% off Carlos Santana and Fergie Footwear with promo code FC20!

Admit It

You're a shoe addict, aren't you? You know, the first step to acknowledging an addiction is to admit you have a problem. Lucky for you I am here to feed that addiction as are the designers behind Carlos Santana shoes with this hot little number below.

Admit - Carlos by Carlos Santana

Take a step in the right direction and admit yourself into your shoe addiction with these bad boys. I love the contrast of the curved sexy shape mixed with thick silver buckled straps which give these a hard edged bondage feel. The mesh or latticed leather upper simply adds to their overall appeal. These will look equally chic with tights or leggings and a dress or your favorite pair of skinnies. Gotta love a shoe with versatility.

Two to Tango

Carlos Santana - Tango

Please take my word for it when I tell you these are STUNNING in person. The hubs and I hit up the mall this weekend and naturally visiting the worthy shoe stores/departments between one end and the other is a necessity. I quite literally stopped in my tracks when I saw them. They were at my local Macy's store. I HAD to try them on. I. DIE. These need to be in my closet. My birthday is next week so I didn't allow my husband to buy them but merely hinted at the fact that I would be more then satisfied if the Tango ended up in my closet. I will say that I tried on my normal size (6.5) and they were too big. The six was perfect. I lurve birthdays. Stay tuned for what else is on my list.

Going Global - Now That's What I'm Talking About

Romantica - Carlos Santana

Reach new global heights with this sexy platform pump by Carlos Santana. Bold, brassy hardware will all but guarantee your feet will receive a wealth of attention. The combination of beading is spot on from the tiger striped jewels, to tear drop shapes, to gold studs. Strap these bad boys on and head out for a night on the town. But be prepared to feel like a diva all night long.

Blue Leopard and A New Look

I was inspired by one of my favorite bloggers and fellow shoe fanatics The Shoe Girl to change things up on the ol' bloggity blog. I hope you like the new look. I've been thinking it was time for a change for a while now... Your comments/suggestions are welcome. Let me know what you think.

Privilege - Carlos Santana

Blue leopard sitings are becoming more and more frequent. I happen to personally have a blue leopard scarf that I picked up from either H&M or Forever 21 that I absolutely adore and now it seems you can find them in shoes. This delicious little pump by Carlos Santana makes me giddy. A classic shape in a just as classic print with a bold colored twist. J'adore.

Mad for Plaid

Roulette - Carlos Santana

This delightful little peep toe by Carlos Santana hits all the right notes for fall. A great way to add a spot of plaid if you're not quite sure you want to go all in with a top or skirt. The D'Orsay styling is always a favorite of mine and the patent leather strap and silver toned hardware give them just the tiniest bit of an edge. How adorable would these be paired with a pencil skirt. Perfect for the office or a night out on the town.

Oh...my shoes are sorely lacking a storage solution! I've got the ugly over-the-door rack and then a whole mess of shoes all over my closet floor!

Two of a Kind (well... almost)

I was browsing around on shoes.com the other day and came across these two little beauties. As you may or may not know I had a slight obsession with elastic detailing on shoes this past Spring/Summer 08 and it certainly seems like this trend is continuing into 2009. Both of these styles are extremely similar to one another. After seeing them side by side I'm leaning towards the pair by Carlos Santana. I am beginning to love how designers are borrowing from each other. It is, after all, most advantageous to us consumers. Which pair do you prefer?

This pair by Jessica Simpson is nice. I really like how the zipper detail treads all the way down the stacked heel. But in comparison to the pair by Carlos Santana they look cheaper. Perhaps it's the sheen of the faux patent leather.

These are HOT! There is just something about the weave of the elastic and the stiletto heel that has me all a twitter. They definitely look more high end than the pair by JS. You could pair them with tights and be hot to trot now and then bare all in the Spring.

Biker Chic (Rough and Tumble)

Shoes with tough details are hot right now. Heels and the Queen City blogged about this particular trend just a few days ago, calling them dominatrix heels and Piperlime just sent me an email touting the "Rock Star Femme" look is where it's at. My husband would call it "rough and tumble". No matter what you call it I am loving this look and am definitely on a mission to find a pair of my own to rock. Toughen up some of those girly ensembles I'm always sporting. Wanna get yourself a pair? When it comes to hardware look for buckles, studs, or zippers. For color, black is best. Personally, I'm partial to leather but if leather's not your thing there are plenty of synthetic materials to go around. Check out a few of my favorite finds below.

Bronx Zari

The wrap around leather strap at the ankle really toughens up these beautiful Bronx boots. I love the slouchy upper which is very chic and on trend.

Kiss Boot - Jessica Simpson

Yes, I know! They're flat! I couldn't believe it either but there are some really great elements here. From the zipper that starts at the arch and travels all the way up the shaft, to the buckled ankle strap. The thin traction sole ups it's biker/rocker quotient yet manages to remain feminine at the same time. Find these on heels.com and use your 15% discount using the code HEELS08.

Excel - Carlos by Carlos Santana

A black suede bootie in a classic shape with a modern twist. The zipper detailing is perfect, wrapping around from ankle to the top of the foot. The shape alone will make these a wardrobe staple. Wear these with pants, skirts, your skinny jeans, just about anything and you'll be ready to rock n' roll.

Mallory Boot - Jessica Simpson

Slouchy, sexy, with a hot little buckled detail in the back. Guaranteed to toughen up even the flirtiest of your fall florals and lace. Oh and guess what? You can use your 15% off discount from heels.com on these too. Don't forget the code. Heels08

Tayla Heel - Betsey Johnson

More zippers, I know but I really love these. The more I look at them the more I want them. The kicker was when I saw the lightning bolt zipper pull on the heel. You can use the discount on these too! I know, I'm awesome! Heels08

Pour La Victoire - Sabrina

I'm intrigued by these. Personally, they feel just a tad over the top but I'm teetering on the edge of whether or not I think they're great. They definitely have that rocker vibe. What do you guys think?

Striker Pump - Jessica Simpson

So the heel on these bad boys comes in around 5 inches. Hot heel, zippers, and leath-uh.
'Nough said.
