Dreamy

Dear me. You would think I'd have died and gone to heaven. No. Wait. Scratch that. Because if I had died and gone to heaven these little beauties would be on my feet right now. The bow. The rhinestones. The mesh fabric. The flirty pink hue. I am officially undone.

Trend Spotting - Lace

As I've been perusing websites trolling for hot shoes I have picked on a a little trend that no one seems to be talking about, as evidenced below. And here.

House of Harlow - Lace Bootie

Just remember. You heard it here first. And as it turns out, Elle agrees with me.

Holy Hell

Remember Lust-Worthy Wednesdays. Well... welcome to Holy Hell Fridays.

Nappa Bow Bootie - Valentino

I mean are there even any words? Besides the ones in the post title. HOLY. HELL. From the stunning leather, to the peep toe, to the gathering to the most perfectly placed, perfectly sized bow ever created. These are amazingly delicious, so much so, that I'm drooling over here. Damn you Valentino! Damn you!

Look for Less

I have had my eye on this Valentino pump for quite some time now. Unfortunately my wallet has kept it to just that. Eyeballing it from afar. This is the ideal shoe for the true girl at heart. That perfectly shaped, perfectly placed bow. The ultimate in feminine details, the peep toe, combined with d'Orsay styling. Is it any wonder why these have been haunting my dreams?

Well, well, well my friends thanks to everybody's favorite socialite (Ahem. What?) you can now have the look of the Valentino pump for a whole let less. Not too shabby, eh?

Flirty and Fabulous Friday

Valentino Bow D'Orsay

"Hello my lovely, it's so nice to make your acquaintance."

Now this particular Valentino shoe style has been around for awhile and I've been quite taken by it. However it wasn't until today that I discovered this particular little gem. Paint it gold, encrust the bow in rhinestones (not just rhinestones, "crystals") and that's it. I'm officially smitten. If I could buy these, I would wear them everyday. And then stare at my feet all day. Seriously. LOL! My husband always tells me that he can't wait until he's making enough money so that I don't have to work and then I can just get drunk and stare at my ring(wedding) all day. If I had these I could stare at my feet too : )

Resort 2009

We're barely a month into Fall and the resort collections are hitting stores. Bergdorf Goodman sent me a tempting little emailing spotlighting some delicious shoes and handbags. With the weather taking its sweet ol time cooling off (at least here in the mid-west) and since the tights/open-toe shoes combo is now de rigueur you could pick yourself up a pretty little pair and wear them right away. Check out some of the gorgeous offerings below.

Valentino Bow Pump

Ugh! Valentino is killing me softly. Their Fall 08 collection left me one "smitten kitten" (Thanks Lizzy) and now this adorable bow pump has caught my eye. The color is gorgeous and will work with a wealth of looks. Jeans, skirts, dresses, you name it. And that bow, that bow is pure perfection.

Oscar de la Renta Open-Toe Sandal

A pretty shoe in an even prettier coral hue. Brushed patent leather give them a low-key distressed look and of course there is the elastic strap. You know how I love me some elastic straps.

Emilio Pucci Sequined Bootie

Oh you could wear these little beauties with sooo many things. I heart them. So utterly chic and so utterly of the moment. I can't think of a better way to throw a little sass into my evening wear(or even my day wear) than these.

Sergio Rossi Platform d'Orsay

Argh, the satin! Argh, the leather! Argh, the ruching! A perfect nude. My heart aches for these.

Sergio Rossi Platform Patent Slingback

A gorgeous platform pump guaranteed to be a classic. You will go to this pump again and again. And why wouldn't you? They're practically perfect in every way.

Oscar de la Renta Bow Slingback

What better way to start and end a post than with a bow. Natural straw with black patent leather trim. Pretty and wonderfully feminine. A great addition to any girls wardrobe.

Pointy Toe Ankle Boots

Bold, hot, fab-u-lous! The editors at Lucky point out "Part Shoe, part boot, with some serious heel, these multitaskers feel almost essential this season." Ha! I couldn't have said it better myself. Enjoy!

I am so in love with these booties by Valentino.
Oh that bow detail just sends me over the edge!

There is a lot to love in this Virginia Ankle Boot by Jessica Simpson, from the cuff, to the cone shaped heel, to the pretty little button detail.

Lust-Worthy Wednesday

*DOUBLE SIGH*

"Hello Lover...", it's so nice to see you again.

Ladies this week's Lust-Worth Wednesday is brought to you by Valentino. This pair of mary janes is not your ordinary pair of mary janes. These perfect little gems are extraordinary. They may look familiar and they should(see post Little Bow Peep). However there is one subtle difference that just takes my breath away. It's the leather. These shoes are TRULY stunning. So without further ado I bring you the Graphique Leather Pump by Valentino.

Oh and at a mere $695 they are the least expensive Lust-Worthy Wednesday pick so far. Does anyone want to give me $695?

Anyone?

Little BOW Peep

According to style.com designers for the Fall 08 collections are fit to be tied. Designers like Philip Lim, Blugirl, and Jil Sander featured bows on their runways. Before we know it bows will be turning up everywhere. From blouses, to skirts, to - you guessed it - SHOES! See below for some of my faves.
