Dreaming In Gray (Grey?)

Despite the fact that St. Louis saw the hottest temperatures of the summer yesterday my fashion eye couldn't be further away. Currently dreaming of shoes in gray. And here are a few that have caught my eye. Some in a true gray and others with more of a metallic hue. Can't wait for the first leaves to fall and that crisp feel in the air.

Lizzy, This is For You.

Elizabeth and James - Lizzy

This bootie has me intrigued with a capital "I". From the cuffed ankle, to the lace up tie, and the peep toe I am loving these with a capital "L". You may think I'm crazy but I am beyond happy that the peep toe bootie will continue, yet again, to be a hot item come fall. They're fun. They're flirty and work appropriate. That is a beautiful thing.

Another Shoe to Match My Mood

Still not feeling like my regular cheery self. We're going on day 5 of no sun. Yippee! However, I did find this little beauty and it perked me up a wee bit.

In a word. Stunning. The stingray upper is key. It truly makes this shoe. According to one of my cyber friends and fellow bloggers, stingray will be a key trend in the upcoming seasons. I"m not sure if you're familiar with this particular material but it is incredibly resilient. I've spent lots of time inspecting it while my husband shops for cowboy boots. The addition of the metal heel is pure genius and the shape is fierce. Seriously. These are crazy hot!

Bop Shopbob

I received an email from shopbop.com today. They have pretty-fied their website. Lot's o' improvements to be had. Much more user friendly I.M.H.O. What is the first thing I decided to check out? I'm sure you all are wondering : ) Here are just a couple of my faves from the new and improved. Don't worry. You'll get to see more tomorrow.

Elizabeth and James - Risky Ruffle

I am so digging these. There are a lot of really key details here. From the ruching and covered buttons at the vamp to those oh so delightful ruffles on the heel. Reminds me of those cute little ruffled diaper covers. Oh so girly and sweet.

Stuart Weitzman - Swag

Ugh, wishing these were in the Nordstrom half yearly sale. If they were they would so be mine. This is just the pump to replace my current grays. A very classic Stuart Weitzman shape with the cutouts, the platform, and that patent leather covered heel. Just what this little fashionista needs for trekking around campus. Do you think it's possible to will something to go on sale? Maybe these days it is...
