Yay or Nay Thursday

I've been noticing this style for quite some time now as I'm sure you have and I have to say, I'm on the fence. They are, quite literally, everywhere. Nine West has a line and Steve Madden too. I've seen Meagan from ...love Maegan wear them (and look adorable) and some of the most stylish women in fashion have been seen sporting this look as well

Despite my reservations towards this particular trend I know that there are many of you out there digging it so I thought I'd feature a couple pairs that I like.

Boutique 9 - Ronnie

Personally when it comes this trend a little dash of femininity is key. The crackled shimmering metallic hue adds just the right dose here.

Moschino Cheap & Chic - Henry

Once again we have a sweet feminine touch. This time in the form of the thick ribbon lace up closure all tied up into a pretty bow.

So ladies what say you? Will you be sporting the oxford look? Yay or Nay?

I actually do like this trend. Mainly for comfort. But I, personally, could not pull this off.

I think it looks cute on others but not me. I'm willing to try them if I found some tht are just too beautiful to pass it, I might try them.

These are as versatile as flats, and I have a pair and love them. I'm about to feature these soon on my blog because a lot of people aren't sure how to do them or if they work, so I thought I'd give my advice. I think it's a great (and totally wearable for anyone) trend!

I think I will try it....if only because I have a pair of shiny black oxfords from my military uniforms that are not being worn. I think some big, floopy laces would transform them.

I think they are cute, but for me personally I dont think I could pull them off. Plus I feel like its a shoe for people with little size 6 or 7 feet lol

A BIIIG YAY. I found my perfect pair of vintage-looking oxfords in my new-ish Cydwoqs. They are so comfortable - like they were made for my feet. And of course I blogged about them here: http://wearability.posterous.com/my-burning-love-affair-with-cydwoq-shoes-part
