Did Somebody Say Free Shoes?

Let's talk shoes, shall we? More specifically let's talk boots.

A few weeks ago I was contacted by the lovely folks over at Wanted Shoes asking me if I would be interested in trying out a pair of their shoes. I could pick anything that I wanted from the site. Anything at all. I don't think I could get that mouse moving fast enough! I tell ya, I was like a kid in a candy store. At one point I had "narrowed" it down to five pairs. And after enlisting the help of a couple fashion savvy co-workers I eventually decided on these...

Lisbon - Wanted Shoes

The whole process from start to finish was ridiculously easy. I received a notification email the same day I placed my order that the boots had shipped. Talk about quick! And despite the fact that I did receive these boots for free please know that my opinion is nothing but honest. I would never steer you guys wrong. You all mean too much to me. I must say I have been pleasantly surprised with these boots. As a general rule I tend not to purchase shoes that are made out of synthetic leather (my apologies to my vegan readers) but this boot may make me reconsider that. I think the fact that "leather" has been distressed gives them more of a luxurious look and feel and they are ridiculously comfortable. I've already worn them twice. Here is one way below.

All in all I am thrilled with the Lisbon boot from Wanted Shoes! Now don't you think for a second that I'm going to talk all about my wonderful pair of free shoes without one of you all getting something out of the bargain.

The oh so generous folks over at Wanted have also offered a free pair of shoes for one of my readers!!!!!

Lust Worthy Wednesday

Lanvin - Puzzle

Yes, I know. It's way too early in the season to be talking about resort collections but these Lanvin wedges took my breath away and I immediately thought they would be perfect for a Lust Worthy Wednesday post. Haven't done one of those in a while. Stunning, no? These are such pure utter perfection. From the contrasting patent upper, nude ankle tie, and towering wooden wedge there is a whole lot to love on these bad boys. Yum. Right?

Military Chic

I'm back!

I don't know about you all but military is one of my favorite trends this season. I love that it is a mix of new + classic. New neutrals (read olive and taupe) with classic touches (read buttons and buckles).

Here are a couple of my favorite interpretations.

Mia - Duke

Bold cuff. Delicate buttons. What's not to love?

Steve Madden - Caylyn

Bold elastic criss cross straps meets tone on tone olive hues. Again, what's not to love?
