Rugged AND Racey?

Rugged Racey - Naughty Monkey

These sweet, sexy little pumps remind me of a pair of Michael Kors shoes I have from years and years ago. I love the round toe, thick buckled detail, and glimmering silver hardware. These would look fabulous paired with pants or a skirt or dress. Okay fine, I think these will look great with anything. Obviously.

Wah Wah...

Guess what I just bought?

Senso - Wilma

So solestruck.com sold out of the traditional cheetah print in my size but they did have these... and I caved. I am so excited to get them.

The hubs wanted me to get these...

Nine West - Donley

and I really was going to but I can't find them. Anywhere. : ( Sad face. I think it's the soldier in him. He can't seem to resist a good military boot. If you do know where I can find the Donley. Please let me know. I'm on a mission now.

A Peep of Lace

Via Spiga - Evanna

In a word. Stunning. I simply adore this peep toe bootie. This is a tremendously gorgeous take on the lace trend from Via Spiga. A little edgy, a whole lot sexy the Evanna is perfect for a night out on the town. And if you style these just right I think you could make them work for the office as well. I'm envisioning a pencil skirt, a sleek turtleneck, some tights and "Voila!", office chic.

LAME + L.A.M.B.

Yeah. I know. I suck. Geez this is hard. Class was canceled last night and I can't even begin to tell you how thrilled I was. Obviously I am still trying to work out a system. One post a week is not acceptable. I am so sorry. But hopefully these will make up for my absence.

L.A.M.B. - Pounce

The wonderfully adorable Leslie over at A Blonde Ambition first brought these to my attention and it was love at first site. First of all you know how obsessed I am with leopard print pumps this season and I absolutely adore this take an a classic from L.A.M.B. Gorgeous, curved, sexy shape + a sky high heel. What's not to love???

I Know...

I know I promised an outfit post today however I am currently without a working camera. I am hoping to remedy that situation on Friday. Should I succeed I will then be posting my outfit choices on Saturday and Sunday. I'm so sorry ladies. Believe me. I'm as disappointed as you are.

To make it up to you I thought I'd post this little bit of eye candy to brighten your day.

Yves Saint Laurent - Asymmetric Mary Jane

Yeah. Uh, sorry. Pardon the bit of drool there. Wowzers! You had me at the curved heel. Utterly, devastatingly sexy this beyond ridiculously gorgeous pump makes my heart go pitter patter. In honor of my 500th post, would anyone like to gift these to their favorite shoe blogger?

Anyone?

No?

*SIGH*

Didn't think so...

Saint Louis Fashion Week

I am so thrilled to be attending my first Saint Louis Fashion week. I was lucky enough to score a press pass and will be covering 2 out of the 5 events on the blog. Here is some info about the event below from the press release that was sent out.

Saint Louis Fashion Week enters its fourth year of shows with Fall Fashion Week 2010!

The focus this season is on St Louis' top fashion retailers. Much like Vogue's Fashion Night Out, Saint Louis fashion week is focusing on ways to boost sales locally during a recession. Three of the shows (Wednesday - Friday nights) will take place inside retail locations: Saks Fifth Avenue, Macy's at the Galleria and Plaza Frontenac. Each night will include a complimentary cocktail hour, a fashion show that presents the stores' best lines and an opportunity for fashionistas to shop the collection.

The week will culminate with the fashion event of the season, Liquid style. Happening in the recently renovated Old Post Office Plaza Downtown, the event brings together top St. Louis Boutiques Sole and Blues, Rung, NV Boutique, Klutch Boutique, The Eye Bar and Boutique 83 for a night of fashion by local retailers.

Also returning this year is the popular Project Design, an online fashion competition featuring local fashion designers.

Here is a link to where you can learn more and purchase tickets.

I will be covering the Project Design event on Tuesday night at Third Degree Glass Factory and Liquid Style on Saturday night at the Old Post Office Plaza.

If you are in the St. Louis area I would love to see you there! I will also be posting re-caps on the blog next week. I can't wait!

Now the only problem is figuring out what to wear : P So I thought I would post pictures over the next few days of outfits I'm considering and I'll let you decide. Stay tuned for tomorrow's post for outfit choice number 1.

Are you attending any fashion week events, whether it be in Saint Louis or New York or anywhere? If so, what will you be doing?
