Dreaming In Gray (Grey?)

Despite the fact that St. Louis saw the hottest temperatures of the summer yesterday my fashion eye couldn't be further away. Currently dreaming of shoes in gray. And here are a few that have caught my eye. Some in a true gray and others with more of a metallic hue. Can't wait for the first leaves to fall and that crisp feel in the air.

Oh man. It really is no contest isn't it? I've got some things to think about. Including whether or not the Tory Burch is in the budget. If I could find something equally as stunning for half the price I would be all over it. What do you say ladies? Is it no contest for you as well?

Crazily enough this may just trump all of them. Completely outside of my box (which is an idea I'm loving more and more lately) and I am finding myself oddly attracted to that lug sole. I know. I'm crazy, y'all. I'll be sure to let you know what I choose soon ; )

Leopard Print - What Should I Choose?

I need a leopard print pump or bootie (closed toe is the key here) for fall. Perhaps "need" is a strong word. Nope. I just decided. Need is definitely not too strong of a word. I heart leopard print. It's pretty much a classic. Take it from me folks, leopard print will never be out of style. Which is why a cool pump (or bootie) has made it to the top of my "next shoe purchase" list. I will feature two of my top choices today and two more tomorrow. I thought perhaps you might want to help me choose and it the midst of all these choices you might just find a pair you want too!

With the exception of the pump vs. bootie shape these are pretty equal in regards to cost and material. I must mention that I am somewhat apprehensive when it comes to a pony or calf hair upper. You see I had a pair of Nine West leopard print peep toe pumps and the hair rubbed off. I'm not sure how and I'm not sure why but it was as if with the turn in the weather the pony/calf shed its coat. Has this ever happened to anyone else? Or am I alone here? Either way I'm not sure I could go wrong with either of these. What say you, dear readers? Which would you choose? Tory or R&R?

Loser + Pizza and a Shoe

So I'm not really sure what is going on but I've managed to lose 2 followers in the past week or so. Boo hoo. I'm sad. Really sad. Did I do something offensive? Have I lost my shoe mojo? Please stop abandoning me. I'm starting to cry myself to sleep at night.

But seriously I've been thinking about changing things up and would love nothing more then to discover what you all would like to see. What can I do differently to keep you engaged in the blog? Would you like to see a more personal approach? Pictures of me and my shoes maybe once or twice a week? I have to be honest I've been pondering that idea but frankly I'm not that comfortable in my own skin anymore. Maybe a weekly or bi-weekly photo shoot will help me get past all of that. Any suggestions/ideas would be most appreciated! I love to blog and I love nothing more than getting feed back from you all. So keep those comments coming and stop leaving me damn it!

Alright now enough of MY bellyaching. I'm sure you all are dying to know what I bought from wish with my groupon. I will say that I think what I ended up with was truly what I was meant to get. But, sadly, they were out of my size in these. I couldn't even try them as the next size up was one whole size bigger than what I wear.

Now the reason I say it was meant to be is I've had the Reva flat on my wish list for two years now and I truly believe it was kismet. Especially since when I picked them up the display was my exact size. As soon as I slipped them on, I knew. Finally. The Reva is mine. I am beyond happy and the best part is they only cost me $144 and some change. Thanks to my groupon.

Christmas List

This pair of shoes has made it on to my Christmas Wish List. I know it's hard to believe being that it's a flat and all but this particular pair could be worn in so many different ways with so many different things. I hope Santa grants my wish this year. What about you? What's on your list?

Tory Burch Reva Flat

Left in the "Burch" - Tory Burch, that is

Designer Tory Burch was recently recognized by the CFDA(Council of Fashion Designers of America) as the "Accessories Designer of the Year". Quite an honor wouldn't you say? It's not often this gal(meaning me) will feature flats but Tory's are different. They're quite classic and quickly becoming iconic. Tory's flats are easily recognizable by the T logo and even though I won't be giving up my heels anytime soon I can certainly see myself throwing on a pair of these on the weekends. They are perfect for an afternoon of shopping or running errands and oh so stylish to boot. Oh and don't be surprised if the yellow pair finds its way onto "The List".
