Fergie Approved?

So Tuesday I was minding my own business, I had just gotten back from the gym, and plopped down on my bed and checked my email. When this subject line caught my eye...

"Meet and Greet with Fergie Aug. 14"

Now let me tell you my first thought upon seeing the subject line having not yet opened the email was "Damn it! I always miss the cool stuff being stuck here in St. Louis where nothing as amazing as this ever happens" I was, you see, assuming this event would be taking place in New York. And then I opened the email.

I'm not sure if you are aware of this but St. Louis just so happens to be the headquarters for Brown Shoe Company. And Brown Shoe company produces and manufactures many, many fabulous shoe lines. Via Spiga, Carlos by Carlos Santana, Sam Edelman and most importantly Fergie. Saturday, August 14 just so happens to be the date that the Black Eyed Peas are in town for a concert. Do you feel me? Are you picking up what I'm laying down?

Stay tuned for Monday's blog post. It is sure to be a biggie!

And here is a sneak peak of the shoes I'm going to wear (Courtesy of Brown Shoe Company). Do you think they will be Fergie approved?

All That Glitters is Gold

Fergie - Joust

This gorgeous sandal by Fergie has so much visual interest I just HAD to feature it from three different angles. They are simply stunning, no? I love the contrast of the pebbled leather with the smooth leather and the embellished center strap adds just the right amount of oomph. I think these would be gorgeous paired with a maxi come summer time.

Built In

Gadget - Fergie

I've been taking notice of this smart little addition to boots over the past couple of months and the more I see it, the more I like it.  It seems like a great way to be both fashionable and cozy.  A feat that can be challenging as the weather cools. Buster features a soft suede upper and 4 inch siletto heel and Gadget features gorgeous cognac leather and a delightful cone shaped heel.  The socks look like they could be tucked away too which would make them transition well into an evening look.  Up for day, down for night.  I like it.

Back In Black

Ho hum. I've been feeling rather blah over the past couple of days. It's a combination of things. From the craptastic weather we've been having lately (seriously have not seen the sun in two days) to a general discontentment with a variety of things. This blog has been my saving grace as of late and I just want to say thank you to all of you who continue to look at the pretty pictures read, and visit, and follow this thing that I love. I did not create this blog to vent but there is something so cathartic about laying it all out there to a bunch of strangers. I'm not sure I'm ready to do that just yet so instead I'll feature a shoe that matches my mood, at least in color anyway.

Turnpike Sandal - Fergie

Let this strapalicious beauty carry you from dinner to a night of dancing. A gorgeous suede upper with bold curved cutouts and a striking contrasting metal heel. So simple, yet the details are such that they make this shoe a stand out. Not to mention they are so gorgeous on. Take a little look see for yourself below.

Bandaged Bootie

Thief Bootie - Fergie

This fast little ankle boot reminds me of these Louboutin lovelies that I am obsessed with. Fergie brings you the look for less. I love the bandage detail on this. A gorgeous peep toe bootie that will edge up all of those feminine frocks. The thief features a double platform, back zipper for easy on and off, and a block style heel. Tres chic.

Beautiful Blues

I know I just blogged about a beautiful blue that I'm considering adding to my shoe wardrobe well... apparently I'm ahead of the curve because I received an email from Nordstrom earlier this week touting the latest sandal trend and guess what??? It's "Into the Blue". Here are a few of my top selections from the site.

This huarache style is all the rage so why not tap into two trends at once. A cork wedge and a woven lightly crinkled leather upper. The sling back strap keeps these from looking too heavy and I simply adore the dark blue hue.

Jeffrey Campbell - Vice

A triangular t-strap adorned with tonal beading? Yes, please! I'm betting that this bad boy is stunning in person. The leather upper combines with a 4 inch wooden heel and that color... Gorgeous turquoise reminiscent of the Caribbean. And this midwesterner loves to be reminded of the sea any chance she gets.

Fergie - Jolt

Another hot shoe by Ms. Fergie Ferg. You'll be giving your wardrobe a "jolt" with this sassy little number. Navy blue patent leather overlaps with bright blue and contrasting gray suede all leading down to a sweet little peep toe. An adjustable ankle strap and 4 inch stacked heel will have you kicking up your heels from now all the way through fall as these will work fabulously paired with tights.

Which do you love?

Addendum - Thank you so much to all who left comments regarding their fave. The Fergie wedge was the clear winner. I just ordered it from heels.com. I will post pictures as soon as I get them which should be Monday!

Help! I'm looking for a pair of black wedges and I've found a couple of pairs on heels.com that I like. I just can't decide which pair I like more. So I thought I'd get the opinions of my dear readers. BTW is anyone else loving the new video portion of heels.com as much as me? Seriously, I can't get enough of it. I even find myself looking/wishing for it on other sites. But I digress. It's time to help Stacy choose some shoes.

Fergie, Quiana Wedge

It's my first Fergie shoe! This wedge is fairly basic and that is what I'm looking for. I don't want something that's too trendy. It's sky high to be sure but I love the fact that it features a cork wedge. But not just any cork wedge, oh no. This wedge has small flecks of silver throughout. Add to that the woven straps at the vamp and it's pretty darn near perfect.

Not Rated, Half and Half

This baby is quite simply, adorable. The espadrille wedge, the shining, gleaming patent leather, the t-strap (You all know how I love the t-strap) and then there's the floral fabric wrapped platform. Deeelightful.

So which is it ladies? Help a girl out.
