Velvet

Betsey Johnson - Diskko(Purple Multi)

It was a mere two weeks ago that I blogged about this very shoe in BOLD, bright summery prints. Despite that fact I HAD to show you these. These are going on my fall must have list. The upper here, is velvet. That's right, I said velvet. I love the combination of colors too. What say you? Do you have anything on your fall must have list yet?

Bold Prints

Betsey Johnson - Diskko (Tattoo Print)

I adore these bold, bright, "notice me" pumps from Betsey Johnson. A sky high heel with the perfect pop of color in fresh printed fabric. Apparently I'm not the only one who has taken notice as these were just recently added to the heels.com site and they are almost sold out of the Tin Can Rose print. I love the idea of pairing these with a simple pencil skirt. How would you wear them?

Leopard Pump - What Should I Choose (Part 2)

Sorry for being M.I.A. on Friday. I had a killer headache on Thursday night and went straight to bed after dinner. Booo for headaches.

Today is part 2 of my leopard pump dilemma. These are significantly less expensive than Thursday's options : ) Like Thursday if you could be so kind as to leave me your feedback as to your preference I would be most appreciative. BTW you all are the best for helping a fellow sole sister out. Can't wait to see what you like.

Steve Madden - Caryssa Pump

I will wholeheartedly admit that when I saw the Betsey Johnson pair my heart rate may or may not have increased. I have featured the Steve Madden Caryssa pump before but it was in the form of slithering snake embossed leather. So which is it today ladies? Betsey or Steve? There will be a final showdown tomorrow.

Walking A Mile In My Shoes

It's incredibly sad to me that my camera did not pick up on the true bold hue of these shoes. Gorgeous, bright, stunning - me and my feet are instantaneously happier when I'm wearing my Betsey Johnson Kazans. I searched and searched and unfortunately the Kazan is this particular color seem to be sold out everywhere. I did find this pair below, however. Not a bad substitute if I do say so myself...

It's Friday! It's Friday!

Betsey Johnson - Antoinette

A flower bedecked ankle is the perfect way to prettify those stems in my humble opinion. This sweet wedge by Betsey Johnson has got it goin on in all the right places. Sky high, patent trimmed, hardware, and a leopard print insole a lovely combination makes. These are a delicious way to prance into spring. Wouldn't you say?

Now before you go prancing into the weekend be sure to check out Piperlime's new blog, Fresh Juice.

Their blog will offer a deeper look inside the online shop with behind-the-scenes stories, obsessions of the week and special posts from guest editors like Rachel Zoe and more.

MEEEE-OOOOWWWW!

Betsey Johnson - Astra

Holy hotness! The Betsey Johnson shoe line is killing me this season. Thanks a lot Celine ;) I mean I already have a leopard print peep toe pump that I love but I have to say... this sweet little lady is making me seriously consider adding a second pair to my shoe collection. Just for the record there are lots of justifiable differences. Honest. It's the shape that gets me here. The pleated gathered fabric at the toe + the twist at the vamp + an almost 4 inch heel. This is a shoe that will get you stopped on the streets. Man I love it when that happens.

Pink Panther (Er... Leopard)

Sorry for my inadvertent absence yesterday. I got caught up in reading a book only to be so sorely disappointed by the ending that I threw it across the room. Childish? Yes. Satisfying? Most definitely.

Lakin Pump - Betsey Johnson

Make your sweetheart (or a handsome stranger) purr when you step out in these colorful leopard print heels by Betsey Johnson. The fabulously fierce bright pink fabric upper will all but guarantee you stand out from the crowd. A muted pink patent leather heel balances out the full on wow factor of the pump quite nicely. See it for yourself below.

Also today Fergie shoes are featured on ideeli. Click here for your personal invite link and then score yourself one hell of a deal on these.

I'm In Love

Betsey Johnson - Lavant

Deep intake of breath. O.M.G. Are these delicious or what? The color combination is beyond words. A beautiful gray suede , a glorious pop of yellow, a touch of pretty pepto pink. These need to be in my closet. The choice of colors absolutely makes this shoe and takes what would otherwise seem ordinary and turns it into something extraordinary. Yowza!

New Shoes! New Shoes!

I may or may not have gotten a couple pairs of new shoes over the past few weeks.

I know, I know... blame it on the blog... At least that's what I tell my husband ;)

O.M.G. Sparkles!!!!

Kanata Heel - Betsey Johnson

Betsey brings it once again. Seriously! You MUST click through and check out the video on these. I know, I know, it might sound like a pain in the ass but I promise you it will be worth it. I can't figure out, for the life of me, how to embed the video into the blog. I wish I could but apparently I'm not that technically savvy. Anyhoo how magically delicious is this little dream of a shoe? Gah! I luurrvvee them. The sequins. The shape. Oh my goodness, the shape. And the surprise. Now go! Check out the vid for the flippy surprise. You. Will. Love. It.

I'm Back Baby!

Did you miss me? I missed all of you. Although I must admit it was nice taking a short break. In the time I was away it seems that heels.com managed to add a plethora of shoes that tickle my fancy. Here's hoping they also tickle yours. I'll be featuring them over the next SEVERAL days. There are lots and here is the first pair. It appears, however, that I have a decision to make. Will you, my dear readers, help me make it? What is the decision? Well... it's...

Which pink shoe should I choose?

The first is a shoe you've seen before and it has made my short list.

Steve Madden - Fiessta

The second is this pair I spied on heels.com (a.k.a. my most favorite shoe site ever) last night.

Kazan - Betsey Johnson

Each one is equally feminine in form. I love the cone shaped heel on the Betsey Johnson pair, the thick platform, and oh so rich magenta hue. I am hoping the color on the SM is more similar to this one. The ankle strap, the peep toe, and of course the perfectly shaped rose at the vamp all but screams "I am woman, hear me roar!" I also love the vintage 40's feel these have. Oh man, decisions... decisions...

Pretty in Pink (Round 2)

And in this corner we have a Betsey Johnson wedge, haling from New York, and weighing in at approximately 2.3 pounds please give it up for HIIIIIIIITTTTTCCCCCCHHHHHHH!!!!

Betsey Johnson - Hitch

Ms. Johnson does it again with this playfully flirty wedge. I don't know how she does it but I love the creativity and imagination put forth here. The combination of textures manages to work just perfectly. From the bi-colored raffia wedge, to the rich snake embossed leather, to the striped fabric bow. Pretty, feminine, and ideal for the girlie girl in all of us.

Flowers and Ribbons and Bows, Oh My!

It's Tuesday. The second day of my feminine details feature and today I bring you some beauties by Betsey Johnson and Anne Klein. As far as I'm concerned there aren't many who do feminine as well as Betsey. She knows what us girly girls like.

There are lots of wonderful details to enjoy in this pump! From the pretty floral print to the sweet little bow that adorns the top of your toes and let's not forget Betsey's signature pink sole. I also love that the platform in encased in the floral print. Frankly these all but scream "I enjoy being a girl!"

Simple and pretty this flat sandal doesn't need any extras. The grosgrain ribbon weaves it's way through matching patent leather to create a girlish delight for any gal's feet. The green not tickling your fancy? These also come in black and pink.

Betsey Johnson, Nox

Argh! I lurve these! Ha ha! And so does my husband. Yet another sweet shoe brought to you by the queen of femininity. There are so many charming little details. The floral appliques, the beading, and the contrasting perforated trim has me all atwitter. Woo! And that heel. Super thin and 4 inches. Thank goodness for the platform as it will make walking in them just a touch easier.

Hot Trends - The Wedge

I don't own may wedges but this is a problem I plan to have rectified very soon. However I tend to teeter about a little more when I'm sporting a wedge then when I'm sporting a stiletto. That seems a bit strange, I know, but I've had more practice walking on stilettos. Check out some of my wedge favorites below.

BCBGirls Morenia

Truly adorable. The cut out accents, the square toe, and that amaretto hue all combine to make these truly eye-catching. BCBGirls is always a great brand with quality, on trend shoes at a fabulous price.

Deborah - Betsey Johnson

Ugh! So fabulous. Betsey's designs can sometimes be over the top (see this post on Shoe Blog to see what I mean) but this pair is so, so hot! I love the v shaped straps at the vamp and the hot pink hue! Add to that the tonal stud accents and I am fit to be tied. If the pink is too much for you they also some in black but personally, I am partial to the pink : )

Nine West - Ripple

Ha ha! So this not only hits the wedge trend but it also hits the exotics trend as well. Aren't you loving the twofers? Two trends for the price of one??? How great is that? Snake skin embossed leather and a great black/gray color combo. This sassy little wedge comes in two great other color combos as well.

You Make Me Feel Like Dancin...

Ah, what girl doesn't need some dancing shoes? Now I'm not talking ballet, tap, or jazz shoes. I'm talking night out on the town, holiday party, New Year's Eve dance type of dancing shoes. The kinds of shoes with touches of satin or sparkle. Totally glam and totally hot and totally impractical. But go ahead live it up a little. Wear them with your dark denim and a flirty top or pair them with a pair of opaque tights and wear them to work with a structured skirt and shirt or better yet wear them dancin!

Max Studio - Salsa Heel

Anyone up for some Salsa dancing? (That was too easy.) Seriously though, I really love these. The shape and the sweet gathered and beaded detail on the t-strap. Paint your toes red and then paint the town. Yes, please!

Oh Deer - Gelato Heel

It's the shape here that really gets me. It sends my heart all a flutter. Don't laugh but I LOVE the cotton candy hue. If the pink is a little much they also come in gold but if you really want to stand out - I vote pink. Do they make you as giddy as they make me?

Guess - Nisadora

Wow there are a ton of girly elements in this pretty little peep toe. That multi-colored satin, the ruching around the toe. All adorned with a perfect flower. I love the femininity and I love the colors. These are my top pick.

Put a little sass in your step with this hot pair of heels by Betsey Johnson. Glitter and glide your way onto the center of the dance floor and you're bound to capture everyone's attention. Let's hope you brushed up on your moves.

Biker Chic (Rough and Tumble)

Shoes with tough details are hot right now. Heels and the Queen City blogged about this particular trend just a few days ago, calling them dominatrix heels and Piperlime just sent me an email touting the "Rock Star Femme" look is where it's at. My husband would call it "rough and tumble". No matter what you call it I am loving this look and am definitely on a mission to find a pair of my own to rock. Toughen up some of those girly ensembles I'm always sporting. Wanna get yourself a pair? When it comes to hardware look for buckles, studs, or zippers. For color, black is best. Personally, I'm partial to leather but if leather's not your thing there are plenty of synthetic materials to go around. Check out a few of my favorite finds below.

Bronx Zari

The wrap around leather strap at the ankle really toughens up these beautiful Bronx boots. I love the slouchy upper which is very chic and on trend.

Kiss Boot - Jessica Simpson

Yes, I know! They're flat! I couldn't believe it either but there are some really great elements here. From the zipper that starts at the arch and travels all the way up the shaft, to the buckled ankle strap. The thin traction sole ups it's biker/rocker quotient yet manages to remain feminine at the same time. Find these on heels.com and use your 15% discount using the code HEELS08.

Excel - Carlos by Carlos Santana

A black suede bootie in a classic shape with a modern twist. The zipper detailing is perfect, wrapping around from ankle to the top of the foot. The shape alone will make these a wardrobe staple. Wear these with pants, skirts, your skinny jeans, just about anything and you'll be ready to rock n' roll.

Mallory Boot - Jessica Simpson

Slouchy, sexy, with a hot little buckled detail in the back. Guaranteed to toughen up even the flirtiest of your fall florals and lace. Oh and guess what? You can use your 15% off discount from heels.com on these too. Don't forget the code. Heels08

Tayla Heel - Betsey Johnson

More zippers, I know but I really love these. The more I look at them the more I want them. The kicker was when I saw the lightning bolt zipper pull on the heel. You can use the discount on these too! I know, I'm awesome! Heels08

Pour La Victoire - Sabrina

I'm intrigued by these. Personally, they feel just a tad over the top but I'm teetering on the edge of whether or not I think they're great. They definitely have that rocker vibe. What do you guys think?

Striker Pump - Jessica Simpson

So the heel on these bad boys comes in around 5 inches. Hot heel, zippers, and leath-uh.
'Nough said.

Ribbons and Bows

Aren't these pumps just delicious? What could be more girly and feminine than having your ankles tied up in bows? I think these would be so perfect paired with something structured or menswear inspired. Look closer and check out the woven ribbon detail at the toe and ankle. The details on these are absolutely spot on. I'm at 4 and counting ladies. Ack! Decisions, descisions...
