Frugal Friday Continues...

There were so many adorable shoes at Payless that I just had to continue my Frugal Friday post into today. Enjoy the rest of my top picks!

These wedges are FAB-U-LOUS. The playful details on each wedge evokes a chicness that makes these look much more expensive then they are. The Caruth features a luxurious satin upper in a loverly shade of gray and a sweet little peep toe. Don't you just love that checked pattern? The Caruth also comes in Navy. The Palmetto is equally luxurious with it's linen upper and sassy peep toe and that patent and woven twine detail gives these an extra boost of attitude.

This cut out wedge from Abaete' for Payless is my favorite. I adore the woven ribbon detail and the sweet peep toe. The upper is canvas and the ribbon is grosgrain. D'orsay styling and that cool architechtural detailing on the wedge heel really up the style quotient.

Arcady Birdseye Bow Slingback

I have to say I am really loving these designer lines for Payless and this slingback is certainly no exception. A 3.75 inch stiletto heel , a fabric upper, and the frayed ribbon detail combine to create a truly lovely shoe.

Wyatt Gladiator Slingback

A 4.5 inch heel all but guarantees you will be strutting your stuff in style in this gladiator sandal. This is a great nude hue. Just imagine how gorgeous and long your legs will look when you step out in these. You could pair these with absolutely everything. This is a shoe that you will reach for again and again. It's edgy, it's feminine, it's perfect.

To visit the sale just click here. Enjoy!

Frugal Friday

Today I thought I'd post another edition of Frugal Friday. This edition is brought to you once again by Payless. Payless is featuring some incredibly cute styles right now AND what makes things even better is that they are currently having a sale of up to 30% off select Spring merchandise. See below for some of my top picks. If you do find a pair or two or three that you love I highly suggest ordering from the website. I know when I've tried to find some of the styles in the store I haven't been able to. Happy shopping everyone! (Fair warning, not all pairs featured are on sale. Remember I did say select.)

Who needs a boat when you've got these adorably nautical inspired finds? Both are ultra feminine. The first, a seersucker wedge adorned with woven ribbon detail and a satin upper. The second, a fabric flat featuring tiny polka dots and a sweet bow to decorate the tops of your toes.

Look pretty in pink (coral) with these beauties. The Jorja Slingback with it's shiny patent leather and jeweled accent will add a fab pop of color to your spring basics and the Sassy Espadrille will have you kicking up your heels in comfort and style.

Cara Scrunch Bow Flat

Pretty, pretty green in rich shades of mint and sage. Adore the Carmelita Peep Toe. The contrast leather piping and flirty bow paired with a fabric upper and 3.5 inch heel. The Cara Flat looks fabulously comfortable and the package is all tied up with a pretty knotted bow.

Stay tuned everyone. Tomorrow promises even more offerings as Frugal Friday continues into Saturday. Y'all come back now, ya hear?

Nude Flats

I have spoken often of the wonders of a good pair of nude heels. How they can do nothing but good. They elongate the leg, pair perfectly with anything and everything, etc... Well as I've been searching and exploring the internet to find shoes I want to feature on the blog I came across a few pairs of fabulously nude flats. *Sigh* Yet another pair of shoes to add to the never ending list. Now while the nude flat won't add any additional height(obviously) I consider them a great alternative to the nude heel. Especially on those days when you have lots of errands to run and comfort is key.

Flats can certainly have a tendency to look a little on the boring side but this pair by Sam Edelman is anything but. The cut out details add great visual interest and I love, love, love the toe capped with a bit of snake skin.

Jeffrey Campbell Haley Flat

A studded bow? How perfect! This flat is a great way to combine your girly side with your sassy side. These look as if they are the ultimate in comfort. That supple, flexible leather encasing your toes... pure perfection.

Steven by Steve Madden Stardom Flat

This pair by Steve Madden is my favorite of the bunch. Naturally it's the most expensive of the three. Isn't that always the way? But this, this is a glam flat. I love the shape. The almond toe and the shimmering tiled studs really appeal to me. Adore.

Come Spring, these would look fabulous paired with shorts like these Nanette Lepore shorts I found on Shopbop.

or this flirty dress I found at Forever 21.

Let's Warm Up With Some Hot Choos!

Baby it is cold outside. Ice. Snow. All day. We're expecting 8 more inches overnight tonight. What better way to warm up those insides than a cup of hot cocoa paired with an even hotter pair of Choos!

I die. The color here is absolutely gorgeous. I don't know what it is but I have been semi obsessed with finding the perfect pair of olive hued shoes. Consider this a new neutral. You could pair these with anything for instant chic. Pair them with color, pair them with your neutrals, this sandal is simply stunning and timeless too.

Patent Leather Sandal

Wow. This is a great cage heel with an almost web like appearance. The unique shape and strappy details combine to create a dazzling sandal. Oh yes and then there is the back zip those designers over at JC seem to be loving sooo much this season. I love it too and I love these Choos!

Choo Choo! (Part Deux)

Cuba Elaphe Snake Sandal

The powers that be over at Jimmy Choo call this color, foundation. How utterly perfect as this shoe could certainly become the "foundation" of your Spring/Summer wardrobe. (I'm so sorry for that. I couldn't resist.) More snakeskin. More back zip. More hotness. More delicate straps criss crossing at the vamp. Yumminess personified.

Paxton Rainbow Snake Sandal

OMG, Carrie Bradshaw would so rock this sandal. There is something so appealing about the rainbow color pallette. They are really tapping in to my inner 80's rocker chick. I really love them and you know you are bound to garner all kinds of attention when you step out in these.

Leather Sandals

Get your gladiator on in this leather sandal. With the corded leather straps and the gold hardware adornments trickling down the top of your foot, this shoe will transform any look into something fierce. You'll be a force to be reckoned with and look utterly stylish to boot.

Choo Choo!

I am really loving the Jimmy Choo Spring 2009 collection. Truthfully I really love Jimmy Choo. Period. However, I haven't been feeling the past few collections. There hasn't been a lot to be smitten over but that is not the case now. If I had the dough, every single pair I'm featuring over the next few days would be mine. Seriously. I am fortunate enough to own one pair of these designer gems and I hope to one day own many, many more. Please enjoy a few of my picks below.

Metallic Sandals

This is a gorgeous shoe. I love the strappy woven details and the shape. It's almost bootie like in appearance. The back zip really amps up the volume and the silver hue will look gorgeous with an LWD(Little White Dress).

Snakeskin/Leather Sandals

Look at how hot these look on.

I love the green/black color combo. According to the Jimmy Choo website these were inspired by tribal ankle jewelry. Yet another hot sandal with a back zip and a spot-on shape. Plus you need to get a load of that lacquered heel. Hot!

Peep Toe Sandals

This peep toe snake skin sandal would make an excellent addition to your shoe collection. The nude hue is perfect and will give you legs for days. The platform, and the delicate criss cross straps really amp up this sandal's sex appeal.

Fug or Fab?

So yours truly was browsing around on Saks Fifth Avenue the other day (Shocking, I know.) and there were several shoes that caught my eye. Mainly because of their similarity to one another. I don't know how I feel about this up and coming shoe style. I know where my leanings are but I want to know what you think.

Max Kibardin Lace Sandal

So tell me ladies... what do you think of this hot trend? And it is hot because if you check out this page on the Saks website you'll find quite a few more shoes featuring this special detail.

Inquiring minds want to know. Fug OR Fab?

Waaaah : (

So I just received an email today from Shoe Steal.com telling me that they are canceling my order due to "insufficient inventory" so... it looks like these won't be finding their way into my closet anytime soon.

Oh well I guess that serves me right for telling you all about the sale the other day a half hour before it ended. I really do feel terrible about that.

Pretty in Polka Dots

Blitzen by Nine West

Ah the polka dot. Such a classic yet undeniably feminine print. Diabolina over at My Super Sweet Fashion Diary proclaimed that polka dots never goes out of style and I couldn't agree with her more. Check out her recent posts from January 13 and January 15 where she preaches the wonders of this Spring "trend". Now this shoe brought to you by Nine West embodies what a girl wants. The print, of course, and then add the contrasting platform and sweet shape. This is a wonderful shoe but if polka dots aren't your thing you can find them in black or blue leather too.

Hey Ladies!!!! -Addendum

Crap! So the lovely Heidi just informed me she tried to purchase a pair of shoes from Shoe Steal and she wasn't able to get the $29.99 price. I'm so sorry to have posted this so late. I had no idea it was ending early. I thought the sale was supposed to be all day. As in until midnight. Sorry ladies. I didn't mean to get your hopes up just to have them dashed. Please don't hold it against me : )

Seriously you HAVE to check this out. Anna over at Shoe Smitten turned me on to this crazy blow out sale over at ShoeSteal.com For today only you every pair of shoes on their site is $29.99 or less. Including this pair of Anne Klein Pumps I snatched up for myself. However fair warning my friends. The site is slooowwww. Perhaps from all of us shoe crazed gals trying to score the deal of the century???? But trust me it is worth the wait.

This pair of shoes normally retails for $279.99! No that is not a typo. So hurry! Go now!

Flowers and Ribbons and Bows, Oh My!

It's Tuesday. The second day of my feminine details feature and today I bring you some beauties by Betsey Johnson and Anne Klein. As far as I'm concerned there aren't many who do feminine as well as Betsey. She knows what us girly girls like.

There are lots of wonderful details to enjoy in this pump! From the pretty floral print to the sweet little bow that adorns the top of your toes and let's not forget Betsey's signature pink sole. I also love that the platform in encased in the floral print. Frankly these all but scream "I enjoy being a girl!"

Simple and pretty this flat sandal doesn't need any extras. The grosgrain ribbon weaves it's way through matching patent leather to create a girlish delight for any gal's feet. The green not tickling your fancy? These also come in black and pink.

Betsey Johnson, Nox

Argh! I lurve these! Ha ha! And so does my husband. Yet another sweet shoe brought to you by the queen of femininity. There are so many charming little details. The floral appliques, the beading, and the contrasting perforated trim has me all atwitter. Woo! And that heel. Super thin and 4 inches. Thank goodness for the platform as it will make walking in them just a touch easier.

Feminine Details

There are lots of feminine finds to be had this season. From bows, to flowers, to ruffles if it's dainty then you're in luck.

First and foremost after perusing the January issue of Bazaar the word in shoes was ruffles. I noticed lots of these sweet little details as I've been browsing the latest offerings on my favorite shoe sites. I am most definitely a girly girl and I couldn't be happier to see this sweet little detail being added to shoes. Bows have been ruling the roost for some time now and I am pleased as punch now that ruffles are finally having their day in the sun. What do you think? Are you loving this trend as much as I am?

Here are my top picks below.

Aw man, these are my absolute favorite! The coral color is so gorgeous but if that doesn't tickle your fancy these also come in black leather and a taupe suede. To me, however, the coral is where it's at. The ruffled leather adorning the t-strap is tres chic. This is most certainly a shoe that is going on "The List".

Ugh, as if the ruffled strap didn't already make these girly then you add the sweet little bow into the mix. Not to mention the fact that the ruffle is comprised of grosgrain ribbon. I love the Caribbean hue but this fun little wedge also comes in malt(read brown), and pink as well.

Demy, Steven by Steve Madden

Yet another offering brought to you from Steven by Steve Madden. I've had my eye on these for a while now. The ruffles in not one, not two, but THREE tiers. That fabulous pewter color. The peep toe. Ultra feminine, ultra flirty, and immensely playful. Adorable!

Frugal Friday

You work hard for your money. It's the end of a long work week and what better way to end it than treating yourself to a pair or two of sandals that are fabulous yet they won't break the bank. I was taking a gander at the finds on Payless.com and here are a few of my faves. I know it's a little early in the year to be purchasing sandals but imagine the oodles of time you'll have to think of all the outfits you can pair them with come Spring!

Sydnee Gladiator

Metallics, and buckles, and straps, oh my! This looks like a great shoe for an even better price. A beautiful brushed gold hue that would look stunning against tanned legs. This gladiator sandal even features a padded insole for added comfort. Not too shabby, eh?

I love that these sandals come in this great purple color. The simplest of square studs dots the top of your foot and that's all you need to look fabulous and chic for a bargain basement price.

Vallin Sandal

The intricate woven design makes this pair looks much more expensive than they really are. These come in a variety of colors. Besides the pewter, pictured above, you can find them in gold and silver.

So go on. Grab yourself a fistful of dollars and pick up a pair or two today!

Bedazzled! (Numero tres)

Rhinestone embellished ankles? Yes, please. I am dying to see these in person. I am hoping they will be at the Steve Madden store here in the ol' STL so I can try them on. I love the cut out cuff adorned with pretty sparkling jewels. This shoe will make a statement. This shoe needs me.

This is another shoe that I would love to see in the flesh and try on. The Dunbarton is all about flash and sass. This one is certainly gonna get you noticed. Thick straps. Giant jewels. A sexy platform and 4 3/4 inch heel. Hot, hot, hot!

Bedazzled! (Part 2)

Oo La La this shoe is a show stopper. These are certainly not for the feint of heart. The shiny gold snakeskin all but screams "Look at me!" but the embellishments are a little more low key here. I love the stud accents on the platform and the sexy peep toe. The above pair can be found at heels.com but if you are looking for a more understated version you can find them in black and espresso on Zappos.

Oh dear. I think I may add these to my list too! I love that this gorgeous rhinestone adorned sandal has a heel strap instead of an ankle strap. I don't know about you but me+flat sandal+ankle strap = not cute. I have not been blessed with fabulous long legs and in my book that is definitely a must when it come to flat sandals and ankle straps. But heel straps. Now that is a strap I can be friends with. This shoe will really jazz up your wardrobe. These would pair perfectly with a sweet summer sun dress or floaty skirt.

Guess - Vashti

There is nothing like a strappy sandal to make a girl feel sexy. Now you've got studs thrown into the mix and you are sexy squared. Guess shoes brings you the Vashti. Another shoe guaranteed to bring the rocker out in you.
