Johnston & Murphy + A Giveaway

Johnston & Murphy a name typically synonymous with men's shoes has gotten a boost of estrogen. I was contacted a while back and asked if I would be interested in blogging about their new line of women's footwear and after taking a gander at what they have to offer, I must say, I'm impressed. I'm just sorry it took me so long to blog about them. But lucky for you my procrastination is your gain as it appears that many of their fall styles are now on sale. Check out a few of my favorites below and happy shopping!

Olivia Metallic Perforated Pump

Umm, can you say gorgeous? This is a wonderful basic black pump to add to your wardrobe but they have that wee bit of extra detail with the metallic underlay to make them interesting.

Olivia Whipstitch d'Orsay
Gray suede upper, more whipstitching, and an adorable ankle strap. So, so pretty

Julia Mary Jane

Another classic that every woman should own. This time in the form of an ultra feminine mary jane.

Maggie Shearling

Well now... remember my cozy boot posts from last week? Add this little darling to the top of the list. Lined with genuine shearling these are sure to keep those toes nice and warm plus don't you just love the metallic accents?

There are so many other wonderful options on the Johnston & Murphy site from pumps, to flats, to boots. If you don't see something you like above then just visit the site to see what else they have to offer.

Oh, and by the way I was able to get an early sneak peak at the Spring line... I have only one word. Wow!

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!

  10. Let me just tell everyone how much more FIERCE I've become since Johnston and Murphy has introduced their feminine side. Let's see, my winter wardrobe has been punctuated with the Textured Fur Walker. If I didn't turn heads before.....ladies, trust me when I tell you that I'm certainly the star of the show with this vintage style beauty. Oh and when I really want to bring out my wild side---I just slip into my Anna Ballerina in Zebra. Can't go wrong with a funky zebra print flat. My New Year's resolution is somehow justify another Johnston and Murphy shoe purchase (I have my eye on the Maggie Shearling boot --thanks Stacy) and to continue to be thankful for all of my many blessings.
    Cheers!

  19. My new year's resolution is to be more positive, which has been hard considering all of the cutbacks and layoffs at work this whole year, but I still have my job! Also, I'm waiting on my Canadian fiance's visa application to go through, and it's sooo difficult to wait since I'm impatient.

And I want to watch what I say. It's so easy to gossip and to be unpleasant.

One of my new year's resolutions is to quit drinking coffee everyday at work. An occasional cup is okay, but I really need to kick my daily habit.

Thanks for the pointer Stacey, couldn't resist checking out all of the styles on the Johnston & Murphy website and am very much impressed. love the Olivia metallic pump, especially in dark red and like the idea of showing the accessories with the shoes. 49. Did anyone who purchased the Maggie shearling boot intially think that the boot was stiff and pinched the inside top of the foot where the shoe bends? I love them--but I need to know that they will break in and be comfortable. they are so cozy otherwise!
