Johnston & Murphy + A Giveaway

Johnston & Murphy a name typically synonymous with men's shoes has gotten a boost of estrogen. I was contacted a while back and asked if I would be interested in blogging about their new line of women's footwear and after taking a gander at what they have to offer, I must say, I'm impressed. I'm just sorry it took me so long to blog about them. But lucky for you my procrastination is your gain as it appears that many of their fall styles are now on sale. Check out a few of my favorites below and happy shopping!

Olivia Metallic Perforated Pump

Umm, can you say gorgeous? This is a wonderful basic black pump to add to your wardrobe but they have that wee bit of extra detail with the metallic underlay to make them interesting.

Olivia Whipstitch d'Orsay
Gray suede upper, more whipstitching, and an adorable ankle strap. So, so pretty

Julia Mary Jane

Another classic that every woman should own. This time in the form of an ultra feminine mary jane.

Maggie Shearling

Well now... remember my cozy boot posts from last week? Add this little darling to the top of the list. Lined with genuine shearling these are sure to keep those toes nice and warm plus don't you just love the metallic accents?

There are so many other wonderful options on the Johnston & Murphy site from pumps, to flats, to boots. If you don't see something you like above then just visit the site to see what else they have to offer.

Oh, and by the way I was able to get an early sneak peak at the Spring line... I have only one word. Wow!

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!

Lame : (

Sorry to be such a lame ass blogger lately. Blame it on the time of year. I was up late prepping and wrapping Christmas presents. I'll be back tomorrow.

Cheers,

Stacy

Andrew Geller - Wenday

Here we have a very similar boot to the one featured yesterday. This time we have the sheen of a black patent and a 1/2 inch mini wedge with a skid resistant rubber sole. A faux fur lining and a moisture wicking insole will keep those toes nice and warm. This taller version will work well for those who see lots o' snow and ice and I love that from the outside you could never tell that these are a winter boot. Yay! Another way to look chic and stay warm. Now that this feature is over. Which of my top three picks was your fave?

Way to Go, Sporto!

Sporto Women's - Cindy

A shortie version of a cold weather boot which we would do fine by in the ol' STL but probably would not be the best option if you are living in Maine or Colorado. This is a really nice alternative to bulky Uggs. Sleek and stylish and the almond toe gives them a nice feminine aesthetic. The contrast stitching and wrap around strap at the ankle boost these into overdrive. Keep those tootsies warm and look good. It really is possible.

Cozy Up

It's that time of year when I start yearning for all things warm and cozy. Hot cocoa, gingerbread coffee, cashmere scarves, and boots. I am making it my mission to find a chic pair of cold weather boots this season. Maybe I'll even make them a late addition to my Christmas list. Here is the 1st pick on my list and I'll be featuring a few of my other faves throughout the rest of the week.

Hush Puppies - Amarone

The Amarone has some really nice features. They are sleeker than many other cold-weather boots that are out on the market. These are sure to keep your feet warm and dry with the sherpa lining and trim and will keep you looking chic too! Plus I adore the decorative toggle buttons. I mean, seriously? How cute is that?

Pretty As A Peacock

I ended last week on a party note and I'm starting this week the same. Please accept my apologies again for my absence the past couple of days. But I'm back baby! I first spied this stunning sandal on endless.com and was instantly smitten. Talk about a statement maker. Although as ticklish as I am you may find me giggling as I strut my stuff to and fro. Now the unfortunate news is if you would like to have these for your upcoming holiday soiree or New Year's celebration then you are out of luck. Unless you are a size 7, then you are in luck and you can purchase them here. Otherwise I'm afraid you will have to wait until after the new year. However don't let that stop you...there is always Valentine's Day ya know.

Another Holiday Party Pick and "This Just In"

Gah! It's Thursday and I just realized I have yet to post my top holiday party pick for the week. Where oh where has the week gone?

Paris Hilton - Regal

As you may have heard I like the idea of going outside the traditional color palette when it comes to dressing up your holiday duds. This pretty gray platform pump has got it going on. There are lots of fun little things that I'm enjoying most especially in the form of the fabric ruching along the vamp moving into the toe box and the bow bedecked side. This pump is flirty, girlie, and playful - the perfect combination for dancing the night away.

Now on a completely different note - I just received an email in my inbox this morning Endless.com is offering select Steve Madden boots 40% off! Click here to go directly to the page.

Shoes, Glorious, Shoes!

I'm sure it will came as no surprise that as soon as I spied these I knew I had to have them and that I had to share my find with all of you.

Marcia - Vince Camuto

I know! Deep intake of breath. Could these scream my name any louder? Obviously this little beauty has garnered inspiration from these.

And that is a.O.K. with me.

It has been a while since a shoe has made my heart skip a beat like Marcia has. This heel is so utterly extraordinary. From the sumptuous stone (read nude) suede, to the multiple buckled straps, to the perfect ruffle dotting the t-strap. Plus they are about 1/10 the price of the Loubies. I am picturing pairing these with a wealth of frocks come spring but I know they will work well with many fall/winter looks as well. However if the stone doesn't tickle your fancy you can also get them in

Nude Bootie

I actually saw these in person yesterday afternoon while out Christmas shopping and picked them up and pet them. I even contemplated trying them on but decided against it since I was Christmas shopping and I need not get distracted by pretty things while shopping for others. I'm really keen on the cuffed detailing around the ankle paired with the adjustable strap and the vertical strap topped with that metal button. It definitely gives this basic a swift kick in the pants. I would wear these now with a fun dress and tights but they would be equally chic paired with a plethora of things once they weather warms.

Ruby Slippers

Nina - Elga

Spice up your look with this ruffled beauty by Nina. A stunning "rouge" satin upper combines with the ultimate in girlie designs. I would pair these with something simple and understated and let the shoe speak for itself. Utterly delicious.

A Wednesday Look for Less

Trinitis - Steve Madden

Just a few short days ago I blogged about two very similar sequined pumps I found on heels.com and now I'm back at it again. This time with Steve Madden's version. And do you wanna know the best part? They are half as much! What I really enjoy about these and the Dolce Vita pair that I featured last Tuesday is the lack of sequins on the actual heel. I don't know about you but if I had sequins on a heel I would constantly be worried about losing one or a chunk of them all at once. Gorgeous, eh? And they're a steal too!

Rock and Blues

I first spied these awhile ago and was instantly smitten. I'm not sure why it has taken me so long to blog about them. So many shoes, so little time I guess...

Rock & Republic - Celina

Could the blue hue on that buttery soft suede be any more perfect? Match that up with a recessed platform (a little detail that is quickly becoming one of my favorites) and a sky high 5 and 1/4 inch heel (Yowza!) and this shoe is utterly perfect. I also love the addition of the charm at the heel. A nice way to amp up the volume on this stunning heel. If you want a pair you better hurry. They have already sold out of three sizes!
