Ho hum. Crazy as it seems Thanksgiving is over. Did this long weekend fly by as quickly for everyone else as it did for me? I even took Wednesday off. Ah but it was so wonderful. And now that Thanksgiving is over the holiday parties will be kicking into high gear. I mentioned a few posts ago that I would be featuring my top picks for 2009 and here is option #2.

I had to show this shoe in both colors. I couldn't decide which I liked best. This post is aptly titled because I truly believe it is all about the details is this flirty pump. Before I talk about all of the delicious details in these shoes I just have to give a shout out to Celine - the designer of this little beauty. If you haven't yet checked out her blog - click here. You will love it and her. She's so full of joie de vivre you can't help but want to see her succeed. Now. Moving on. Everything is right here. From the exposed stitch detail to the perfectly place, perfectly shaped bow, to (I don't know if you can tell from the picture) the delicate heart shaped buckle. It's details like these that make this pretty platform look infinitely more expensive than it is.

Oh, and they are so sexy on.

I really loved the YSL Imperiale pump from the first instant I saw it way back when the weather was warm. I'm so happy to see this wonderful interpretation by Dolce Vita. The exaggerated platform is stunning and truly makes this shoe. Not in need of a black pump? These also come in gray suede (I've got my eye on those.)

Oh snap! This deliciously fierce boot has all of the right elements. The loose scrunched shape and the contrast of the red leather lining give these instant sex appeal. Use your creativity and I'm betting you can wear these in a variety of ways. Ugh, these are truly magnificent and I do believe the perfect way to ring in a Monday.

I've been taking notice of this smart little addition to boots over the past couple of months and the more I see it, the more I like it.  It seems like a great way to be both fashionable and cozy.  A feat that can be challenging as the weather cools. Buster features a soft suede upper and 4 inch siletto heel and Gadget features gorgeous cognac leather and a delightful cone shaped heel.  The socks look like they could be tucked away too which would make them transition well into an evening look.  Up for day, down for night.  I like it.

Apparently the folks over at heels.com are puzzled. A boot, which I had taken notice of, because it was flat and black and well many of you know all about my mission there is flying off the shelves. No one at heels is a big fan. I'm not a fan either. But it seems that there are a lot of people who are, especially since I've been told zappos.com can hardly keep them in stock either. Wish It Were A Sunday

I was searching through my shoes the other day trying to find a pair that would work with what I was going to wear to the office and thought "Okay, I definitely need to pull in the reigns on the peep toes." I've got A. LOT. of peep toe pumps. A. LOT. It's time to bulk up the closed toe portion of my shoe collection so that means I'm tearing my eyes away from the peeps. Let's hope I'm successful.

Lucky for me L.A.M.B. has got some crazy hot pumps and here is the first pair I've got my eye on.

L.A.M.B. - Z-project

I first spied these little beauties in blue on heels.com (I know. Gorgeous, right?) But it's really the tan that caught my eye. I'm not sure why. I'm not typically drawn to neutrals but that tan hue just seems to work itself so seamlessly into the shape. That upturned lip shape that seems to be all the rage. Plus check out the side view.
