New From Nine West

I heart Nine West. Have I ever mentioned that? Although it has been a while since I've purchased a pair from this brand I certainly blog about them a lot. Anyhoo I was browsing around endless.com and came across two new styles that tickled my fancy. Naturally I had to feature them here.

Perseus Platform

I absolutely adore the sky blue hue. The upper combines leather and a textile piping that gives this shoe some great contrast. It's a bit reminiscent of suede from the looks of it. I'd love to see these in person. And of course I can't end without mentioning the stitched pailettes making their way along the vamp and continuing up and around the slingback strap. Shimmering, glimmering this sweet little shoe manages to be feminine AND sexy. Fantastic.

Norbu Platform Sling

Yeah I couldn't decide which color I liked more so I just had show both of them. These are very similar to a style I featured here. A wooden platform meets contrasting linen like trim and a snake embossed shining patent leather upper. What's not to love?

To Cuff Or Not To Cuff

What do you say ladies? Have you jumped on this hot trend? I must say the cuffed sandal appeals to me in an odd sort of way. I can't quite put my finger on it but I like em. But if you're like me and you're not interested in spending a ton of money then I bring you these.

Elle Kammy Gladiator

I absolutely adore this cuffed micro wedge by Elle. This little beauty can be found at Kohls. The Elle brand is really fab. I've picked up quite a few pieces from season to season from the Elle collection for Kohls and they've always been on trend and have integrated themselves into my wardrobe quite well. These are a fab price and I LOVE that they have a leather upper. The stud detailing adds just the right amount of hardware in addition to the bronze buckle. Any more metal and I'm not sure I would like them as much. What do you say ladies? Is this a trend you are embracing?

Deal. Of. The. Century

Calvin Klein Parma

If you love these shoes as much as I do run don't walk to the closest Dillard's brick and mortar you can find. Originally retailing for $120 I managed to score these bad boys yesterday for $36 on clearance. Needless to say I was ecstatic. I have been eyeballing these for quite some time, tried them on twice, but never managed to make the plunge. Man am I glad I waited. More than glad, really. Thrilled is more like it! You will be shocked at how comfortable these shoes are. So hurry up and grab yourself up a pair. Oh and I checked the Dillard's website but they are still listing them for $79.99, so your best bet is going to the store. Good luck!

ME-OW!

Okay so let me preface this by saying I do, in fact, realize that the print on these shoes is zebra however you will certainly be channeling your inner sex kitten while your pouncing around in these.

Digitally by Guess

Don't you just love that contrasting 4 inch scarlet stiletto heel? The design is so simple yet so incredibly sexy. From the single strap at the vamp to the uniquely shaped ankle strap with elastic detailing. In a sea of straps and embellishments and studs I find these delightfully refreshing. Sometimes simplicity really is best.

My Future's So Bright, I Gotta Wear Shades

Perrin Sandal, Report Signature

How delightfully delicious are these? Gorgeous pops of neon brights intertwine to create one HOT shoe. Just picture these paired with your basic LBD and they will be the only accessory you need. As if you needed any more attention just look a little closer and you will see a 4 inch glittering metallic heel. So go ahead why not channel your inner 80's rock diva? You'll be sure to amp up the attitude anywhere you go and there is certainly nothing wrong with that.

Beautiful Blues

I know I just blogged about a beautiful blue that I'm considering adding to my shoe wardrobe well... apparently I'm ahead of the curve because I received an email from Nordstrom earlier this week touting the latest sandal trend and guess what??? It's "Into the Blue". Here are a few of my top selections from the site.

This huarache style is all the rage so why not tap into two trends at once. A cork wedge and a woven lightly crinkled leather upper. The sling back strap keeps these from looking too heavy and I simply adore the dark blue hue.

Jeffrey Campbell - Vice

A triangular t-strap adorned with tonal beading? Yes, please! I'm betting that this bad boy is stunning in person. The leather upper combines with a 4 inch wooden heel and that color... Gorgeous turquoise reminiscent of the Caribbean. And this midwesterner loves to be reminded of the sea any chance she gets.

Fergie - Jolt

Another hot shoe by Ms. Fergie Ferg. You'll be giving your wardrobe a "jolt" with this sassy little number. Navy blue patent leather overlaps with bright blue and contrasting gray suede all leading down to a sweet little peep toe. An adjustable ankle strap and 4 inch stacked heel will have you kicking up your heels from now all the way through fall as these will work fabulously paired with tights.

Gladiator Brights

If you were wise enough to jump on the gladiator trend last summer I'm sure you purchased a pair in a lovely neutral. Well for Summer 2009 gladiator brights are all the rage. Why not pick yourself up a pair of this go to basic in a color that pops. See below for a few of my top picks.

Sam Edelman - Ginnie

100% pebbled leather in a sunny orange hue. I love the delicate lines of the straps all leading up to that thick ankle cuff. Such a cool contrast in this sandal that makes these anything but ordinary. That leather looks oh so buttery soft in this gladiator style by Sam Edelman.

Mia - Hydra

This delicious turquoise blue evokes thoughts of a cool blue ocean and days spent on a warm sandy beach. Well you'll be able to strut your stuff in style from the beach to a night out on the town with these little beauties. Croc embossed leather definitely make these look more expensive than they are.

Sam Edelman - Giada

A bold scarlet hue and ethnic beading give this sexy gladiator a delightfully feminine vibe. A calf hair upper also adds a unique twist to this flirty little sandal. Add to that double ankle straps and a back zip and you are bound to get stopped on the street and asked "Where did you get those shoes?"

Which do you love?

Addendum - Thank you so much to all who left comments regarding their fave. The Fergie wedge was the clear winner. I just ordered it from heels.com. I will post pictures as soon as I get them which should be Monday!

Help! I'm looking for a pair of black wedges and I've found a couple of pairs on heels.com that I like. I just can't decide which pair I like more. So I thought I'd get the opinions of my dear readers. BTW is anyone else loving the new video portion of heels.com as much as me? Seriously, I can't get enough of it. I even find myself looking/wishing for it on other sites. But I digress. It's time to help Stacy choose some shoes.

Fergie, Quiana Wedge

It's my first Fergie shoe! This wedge is fairly basic and that is what I'm looking for. I don't want something that's too trendy. It's sky high to be sure but I love the fact that it features a cork wedge. But not just any cork wedge, oh no. This wedge has small flecks of silver throughout. Add to that the woven straps at the vamp and it's pretty darn near perfect.

Not Rated, Half and Half

This baby is quite simply, adorable. The espadrille wedge, the shining, gleaming patent leather, the t-strap (You all know how I love the t-strap) and then there's the floral fabric wrapped platform. Deeelightful.

So which is it ladies? Help a girl out.

The bag quickly became an international phenomenon, catapulting Be&D onto the scene as a new force in the luxury market. Oops, I Gilty Pleasured Again

Ha, ha. That blog post title sounds really dirty. So, I may or may not have purchased a 2nd pair of shoes from Gilt Groupe on Friday. I couldn't help myself. It's as if some higher power had influence over me and guided my hand click through click. I don't even need a pair of gold Cynthia Vincent fringed strappy sandals but it's that savings. They were $88. $88 dollars people!!!! It. Gets. Me. Every. Time.

The more I look at them, the more excited I get. I love the shape and I know the fringe trend is still going to be around come fall. I'm excited to pair these with more casual things. A simple cotton dress or a printed a-line skirt. It should be fun and a challenge to see how much wear I can get out this shimmering gold beauty.

I don't know why but for some reason they remind me of these. This sexy Zanotti sandal that Samantha made so famous in the sushi scene of that little movie about sex that came out last spring. I think it's the shape. It's somewhat similar and the fringe is slightly reminiscent of the fish bones.

What do you say? If you are a member of Gilt have you found yourself getting sucked into a MUST. PURCHASE. haze?

Ladies if you love designer goods at a discount and if you love deliciously FAB shoes you will be interested in this. Today ideeli.com is featuring shoes by Georgina Goodman. Starting at noon you can score yourself a pair of TO. DIE. FOR. shoes for an amazing price. If you are not familiar with Ideeli it is a members only site that sells designers brands at up to 80% off. If you are not already a member of ideeli just click on the invite link on the right of my webpage and sign yourself up. Here is a sneak peak at just a few pairs that are up for grabs.

Ughs! I adore these. The thick swirly straps, the big buckle, the combo of gold and taupe and that gold stiletto heel. Aye, mami. My heart goes pitter patter.

A pop of neon is all the rage. Man, I miss the 80's. Why not add these hot little numbers to your collection? This is a gorgeous peep toe pump and that contrasting black heel gives these just the right boost. Oh and the detail on the heel, it's a little WTF??? but I like it.

Seriously how ridiculously fun are these? If you are looking for a shoe that will get you noticed then this is it. The strap details remind me of those neon necklaces and bracelets that you can buy at a county fair or theme park. Unique and fashion forward, what's not to love?

Feelin the Love...

Sorry for the lack of eye candy this morning. Went out to dinner with the hubs last night and, frankly, just didn't have the time to put something together. Anyhoo the wonderful folks over at The Budget Fashionista showed me a little link love for this lovely little shoe I blogged about recently. A budget fashionista's cool alternative to the less wallet friendly Pour La Victoire pair. Be sure to check out their blog if you're into finding deals and steals, like I am.

Steve Madden - Zoya

Don't You Step On My...

There is something about a brightly colored shoe that just appeals to me. As soon as the weather warms I am looking for shoes that will add that perfect pop of color to all of my summer frocks. In taking an inventory of my personal shoe wardrobe(and it is expansive)I've been taking note on what I want to add. A beautiful blue is on that list and I just may have found the one.

Trufle, Steve Madden

Delicate, divine, layered suede adorns the t-strap of this hot little heel by Steve Madden. Slightly reminiscent of a ruffle but not overtly so. Don't worry the oh so sky high 5 inch heel will be somewhat offset by the 1.5 inch platform. These babies will add instant sex appeal to whatever you decide to pair them with and you'll have the added bonus of that perfect pop of color too!

Floral and Fabulous

Nine West - Launce

Seriously? How delightfully delicious are these? I mean you had me at floral fabric wedge detailing. The color combination is just stunning here and frankly quite apropos for Cinco de Mayo. Nothing says party like bright cheerful hues of pink, coral, and red. I love the strappy details. The criss cross at the vamp and buckled slingback combine to create a flirty little wedge. These truly are floral AND fab-u-lous.

Birds Of A Feather

I was intrigued by the similarities in these. Personally, I'm partial to the pink pair. Which do you prefer?

This sandal with its brightly bold sunflower hue will instantly make you the center of attention. I love the contrast between the leather upper and the rope trim and the wood heel and platform. I love the fresh take on styling here. It just screams summer to me.

Boutique 9 Itala

I simply adore this platform by Boutique 9. The color is fabulous. Boutique 9 calls it violet but I love it for its pinky purple hue that seems to have a sort of streaking effect. Once again we have a shoe style that features a contrasting midsole, this one is wrapped in raffia, and a wooden platform and heel. These may very well make their way into my closet. I love them!

It's Friday, It's A Kickback Day

One of my best guy friends in high school had this adorable little brother who was quite a bit younger than us. I think he was in the 1st or 2nd grade. My friend John was a cut up. A true class clown. Every moment was always funnier than the next. Needless to say this rubbed off on John's little brother and he was becoming quite the little class clown himself. Well one Friday Sam (that's John's little brother) was at school, leaned back, put his hands behind his head and put his feet up on his desk. The teacher looked at Sam and asked him what he was doing and Sam very seriously replied "It's Friday, It's a kickback day". So in the spirit of kickingback, I thought I'd introduce you to a little something that you can do to pass the time when you are avoiding work on your lunch break.

Ladies, and the odd gentleman, allow me to introduce you to Zappos Map. If you are not already familiar with Zappos map you should be. Zappos map allows you to watch orders placed on the Zappos website come in which are then mapped to the location the order is being shipped to in real time. It is rediculously fun and oddly fascinating to see who is ordering what and where they are. Seriously. I can't stop watching. It's so much fun! Enjoy!
