Pretty in Pink (Round 2)

And in this corner we have a Betsey Johnson wedge, haling from New York, and weighing in at approximately 2.3 pounds please give it up for HIIIIIIIITTTTTCCCCCCHHHHHHH!!!!

Betsey Johnson - Hitch

Ms. Johnson does it again with this playfully flirty wedge. I don't know how she does it but I love the creativity and imagination put forth here. The combination of textures manages to work just perfectly. From the bi-colored raffia wedge, to the rich snake embossed leather, to the striped fabric bow. Pretty, feminine, and ideal for the girlie girl in all of us.

Pretty in Pink

Those designers over at Pour La Victoire keep coming up with shoe design after shoe design that quite frankly are leaving me smitten. It's as if these designers have a secret agenda to torture me. Seriously, I consider it a good thing that I don't have the money to buy every pair that puts a twinkle in my eye. I would (as Carrie Bradshaw so famously said) "literally be the old woman who lives in her shoes".

Pour La Victoire - Eileen Twist

Ugh, don't you just want to caress that buttery soft, twisted, pleated leather. Imagine how that will feel resting across the top of your foot. The metallic trimmed platform and shiny buckle add just the right amount of shine on an otherwise muted, yet, gorgeous rose colored hue. These manage to evoke softness and sex appeal. I love it when a shoe does that.

Mini Wedge, Mini Price

Yes. I've been talking about the mini wedge A. LOT. lately. Nothing wrong with that, I say. It just so happens that I was browsing around payless.com last evening and I came across these little beauties. A mini wedge for a mini price? What's not to love?

Mork Mirrored Sling

Payless calls this bronze. I'm calling it gold. I am a bit obsessed with finding THE perfect gold mini wedge for the season and these just about fit the bill. A sling back instead of an ankle strap. Check. Flirty t-strap details. Check. The "Mork" is cheap chic at its best and with the padded in sole you'll be strutting your stuff in comfort AND style.

Scarlet Fringe Sandal

How fun is this sky blue mini in all of it's fringey goodness? A gorgeous hue that is sure to help you embrace the blues. This sweetly layered fringed beauty will have you on trend and leave you plenty of extra pocket change to boot.

Ch-Ch-Ch-Changes

When's the last time you checked out heels.com? If you haven't been recently, YOU. MUST. GO. NOW. They have made some pretty fab updates. You'll find lots of features you can't find anywhere else. For example they now have a video feature that shows you how the shoes look on someone. I LOVE this. And you can sign yourself up for deal of the day updates, or if you see a pair that tickles your fancy, but they are a little out of your price range then you can sign yourself up to get an email when the price drops. It's obvious the lovely folks over at heels.com have been working their tails off. Check it out and let me know what you think, or better yet, let them know.

Check out the latest pair that has caught my eye.

Narla - Vince Camuto

Hot, right? I just had to show you all a side view. That heel detail and Nicholas Kirkwoodesque platform add just the right amount of sass. Speaking of heels, how does 5 inches suit ya? A classic black patent leather peep toe with key on trend details. I love me some classics with a twist.

Strappy Goodness

I admit it. I'm a strapaholic. I absolutely adore strappy shoes and the Credenza sandal by Guess is the most recent strapalicious beauty that has caught my eye.

Credenza - Guess Shoes

I very recently featured another strappy nude shoe from my girl Gwen Stefani's L.A.M.B. line. The Credenza makes a stronger sexy statement. I read a quote the other day by THE shoe man himself, Christian Louboutin, and it goes a little something like this.

"A good shoe isn’t one that dresses you, but one that undresses you."

This looks like a shoe that will undress you in no time flat. Enough said. Crazy sex appeal and a sky high heel, this little beauty is guaranteed to stop traffic. Certainly never a bad thing in my book.

DVF - A Love Affair

I received my daily email from Shop It To Me today. If you are not already familiar with Shop It To Me the website claims you can think of it as your very own personal shopper. You sign up, choose your favorite designers and then Shop It To Me will send you a daily or weekly email featuring the latest sales for all of your faves. Anyhoo I'm not sure if I've ever mentioned this but I love (adore) DVF. That's Diane Von Furstenberg for those of you not "in the know". Today's email featured tons of gorgeous designs by DVF for crazy discount prices and well... I simply couldn't resist. Ladies. Meet my newest DVF. The best part. She was only $109.50!!!!

Don't you think she'll look adorable with the Theory wedges I recently purchased from Gilt (they shipped today BTW... so excited)?

And speaking of shipping today. I received an email in my inbox at 6:23 with the tracking information for my DVF dress. Seriously???? I just placed the order this afternoon!!! That DVF. She does something, and she does it right. I love her even more now!

Bronze Beauty

It's official. I've become an almost lover of flats. Now don't get me wrong, heels will always be "my thing" but I am finding myself more often then not being smitten by a flat. Who knew? Who knew this day would ever come? Ahem, well these aren't "technically" flats but they are flat enough for me. A mini wedge. (Side note: Do you think the mini wedge is made in a mini wedge factory by miniature people, much like the way the Jack In The Box mini sirloin burgers are made using mini cows?) Seriously that commercial CRACKS me up.

Lovely People - Iman

I am particularly drawn to this hardware bedazzled mini wedge by Lovely People. The multi criss cross straps and the rich coppery brown hue absolutely delight. I love the mixture of shapes and textures in the stud detailing and the full zippered back that will make slipping them on and off a breeze. Pair these with your go to maxi dress or shorts and a sassy t and you will be hot to trot all season long.

Splurge Vs. Steal

ADDENDUM - Welcome Budget Fashionista visitors!!! It appears that many of you are still interested in this pretty little Pour La Victoire beauty and after clicking on the link it seems that Piperlime is almost sold out. Never fear, endless.com is here. They too have the Ella, in a beautiful baby blue. Click here for the link. Oh, AND my contact over at endless.com told me that these qualify for the $25 off promo. Enjoy

I was browsing around Piperlime yesterday evening, came across these gorgeous flat sandals and was intrigued by the similarities. I thought these would be great for a Splurge Vs. Steal feature so... here... we... go!

Pour La Victoire - Ella

Sexy meets feminine is this beautiful rose hued snake embossed sandal. Don't you even get me started on that ruffle. It's delicious and has the tiniest touch of an edge with that zippered trim.

A word of warning my fine friends and speaking from experience, this brand runs small so order up a half size.

Steve Madden - Zoya

This sweet little sandal by Steve Madden is a little less overt, a little less "in your face". From the oh so delicate straps to yet another zipper trimmed ruffle. Who might you say inspired whom? I can't say it really matters as it's all a matter of what tickles your fancy. Which pair tickles yours?

I've Got the Blues

I know, I know everywhere we turn these days it's wedges this and wedges that. I've been featuring them quite a bit. Spring has barely begun and I certainly hope this is a shoe style you're not tired of seeing already. As soon as I saw these I couldn't help myself. In a sea of wedges these are a stand out. From the gleaming patent leather in that delicious robin egg blue, to the woven detail at the vamp, to the 4.5 inch wooden heel. The Lola wedge delights in it's simplicity. As we're getting bombarded with studs, and multi-straps, and embellishments (and by all means I love all of those) I am taking a moment to enjoy the simple things. And that includes these shoes!

Gilty Pleasure

I'm sure most of you reading this know all about Gilt Groupe by now. I've been a member for a while and I absolutely adore this site. If you are not familiar with Gilt Groupe it is a members only site that sells fabulous designer merchandise for crazy discount prices. Now while I adore this site I certainly don't adore the torture it puts me through on a daily basis. I'm trying to watch my spending but I've been working so hard lately and I've got another week of 60+ hours ahead. So the other day I finally broke down and bought these.

I adore them! (At least the picture) The best part? They were only $100! This is a shoe that retails for $295. I found them on Piperlime and they are currently on sale for $219.50 but that certainly isn't as great as $100!!!! My favorite part about them is the back.

Now let's just hope they fit. Especially since the last purchase from the interwebs ended in disaster. I promise to take pictures as soon as they arrive!

If you are not yet a member of Gilt Groupe and would like to be. Just email me and I will be happy to send you an invitation.

Argh!

Damn you Gwen Stefani and your gorgeous L.A.M.B. designs. Ugh. I'm still not over the Kochi pump and then you have to go and create another drool worthy shoe. Is it your goal in life to torture me?

Laken Sandal

HOLY. CRAP. Okay so the fact that a shoe can make my heart skip a beat is sort of silly but i can't help it. These are seriously fabulous. The multi-strap detailing in just the slightest of contrasting nude hues and that heel shape. OMG. I DIE. Oh I must figure out a way to make them mine.

All that Glitters

First let me start by apologizing for being M.I.A. for the past couple of days. My posts may be sporadic over the next couple of weeks. This is the busiest time of year for me at work. Now on to more important things. SHOES!!! I was browsing around heels.com this evening, came across these, and just HAD to feature them.

Sonnet Heel, Max Studio

Oh... I simply adore this shoe. T-straps always leave me twitterpated and the Sonnet heel by Max Studio is certainly no exception. My, oh my, the detailing on that "t" is delightful. A loopy twist on fringe in a shimmering, glittering gold hue. Delicate straps plus a delicate stiletto heel. Personally, I would not save these only for special occasions. I would wear these to dress up my casual summer dresses. Add a clutch and some simple jewelry and you'll be ready for a night out on the town.

Boo Hoo : (

I received my new shoes today. Unfortunately they are too small. I was afraid that was going to happen. I tried on a shoe by Pour La Victoire a month or so ago and I had to go up 1/2 size. I was hoping beyond hope that maybe that was just that particular shoe and not the brand but it seems the brand runs small. Unfortunately they don't have them in a 1/2 size bigger so I can't even make an even exchange. The hubs is taking them to the UPS store tomorrow so they can be sent back. There is light at the end of the tunnel however. Now this means I can start looking for a new pair (or two) to replace them : P. The search starts....... NOW.

You can help me. I'm trying to decide between these two wedges. Although I'm having a really tough time finding the Sam Edelman pair in my size. Anyone know where I might be able to find the Tate wedge in yellow in a 6.5?

Sam Edelman - Tate Wedge

Ugh. I've been eyeballing this little wedge for a long time now. But the yellow. It's haunting me. I can't find it in my size. HALP!! I love everything about this shoe. The jewels, the truncated wedge. The cheery, floral fabric edged insole. Argh! And I haven't even mentioned the woven wedge...

Now the Lyra wedge is edgier to be sure. It's sky high and I absolutely adore the oh so unique detailing at the base of the heel. The suede pom poms dotting the vamp are a fun and girlie addition to a seriously sassy shoe.

Leave a comment with your vote. Please. I need help deciding. Don't leave me hanging, people.

Elle Spring Survival Guide - Spectator

Naughty Monkey - Space Invaders

While this isn't EXACTLY a spectator pump it certainly has the feel of one. I simply adore the detailing along the top line, from the studs to the triangle cut-outs, to the delicate silver buckle. The leather upper continues down to partially cover the stacked 4 inch heel and the contrasting black strap across the vamp ties the whole look together and really gives these a slightly vintage vibe.

It's Wednesday. It's a Look for Less.

No doubt about it my fellow fashionistas, if you are a frequent reader of the fashion blogs then you have seen these. Alot.

Yves Saint Laurent - Cage Boot

If you love the look but can't afford the almost $1,600.00 price tag why don't you take a gander at these.

Luichiny - Star Bound

You're certain to channel your inner celebrity in the appropriately named Star Bound pump by Luichiny. Turn the sidewalk into your personal red carpet and prepare yourself to be the center of attention in this cagey heel. The 3/4 inch platform will help balance that 4.5 inch stiletto heel. The zippered back allow for easy on and off. This is one seriously sexy shoe and at a mere $84.99, you could buy yourself a hot little dress to go with them. Like this sassy little number by Maggy London.
