Flirty and FABULOUS Friday

First a big shout out and thank you to all of you lovely ladies who took the time to comment on yesterday's post. Also I want to give a big shout out to all of my new followers. Welcome and thank you! I am honored that you find my blog "follow worthy". Please, please don't ever hesitate to let me know if you have any post ideas. I'm always welcome to suggestions. Alright enough about that. Let's move on to some shoes.

Lace Bootie

It's been a while since I've had a Flirty and Fabulous Friday post but Holy Hell!!! Are these amazing or what???? You know we will be seeing this stunner on the red carpet as some point and time. I would certainly wear them if I had some sort of red carpet event to attend. The shimmering perfection of the slick black patent leather covered platform and heel, the gorgeous lace detailing on the vamp, the gunmetal accents on the ankle strap, and let's not forget that signature red sole all blending together to create one of the most perfect shoes ever to see the light of day. Shit. I'm telling you. This blog will be the death of me.

Saving the Best for Last

Um so it's not like I need or crave comments or anything but come on ladies!!!! Where is the love? It's been 3 days and nary a peep. This makes me sad. Hopefully this shoe will do the trick :) I mean seriously, what's not to love???

Nine West - Demode

Channel your inner pin up girl with this gorgeous peep toe pump by Nine West. I love the retro vibe I'm picking up from these and that teal suede is to die for. There are lots of lovely little details here. From the one inch platform to the silvery pewter piping along the toe box and the cut outs starting at the vamp and making their way back to the heel. Tres delicious, no?

Nine West Steps It Up

I've been noticing a trend lately. Nine West has really stepped up their game for Fall 09. Now don't get me wrong. I have been a long time fan of the brand but to be honest the last couple of seasons have been kind of "meh" in my humble opinion. However this is not the case for this season my friends. So over the next few (possibly more than a few) days I'm going to be featuring my favorite picks of the collection and hopefully I'll be able to find an image of a pair I saw featured in the September Bazaar because OMG are they ever to die for.

Jezebelle

First up I bring you this little beauty full of strappy goodness. The woven criss cross straps combine to create a shoe that is anything but ordinary. The Jezebelle will take you from day to night, from the office to a night out on the town. A zipper lines the heel for easy on and off. I adore the almond shaped toe and the addition of the adjustable ankle strap. These are so delightfully gorgeous and despite the multitude of straps this pump manages to evoke a wonderful simplicity in its design.

Ankle Cuff d'Orsay

Truly, utterly stunning. Oh man I just want to caress that leather. (Can you excuse me for a minute? I think I'm having a moment.) These are so magically delicious I'm almost at a loss for words. The buttery soft ruched ankle cuff, d'Orsay styling(once again), and a sexy 4 inch stiletto heel. I heart you Manolo Blahnik and I curse you at the same time. LE SIGH....

This delightful little peep toe by Carlos Santana hits all the right notes for fall. A great way to add a spot of plaid if you're not quite sure you want to go all in with a top or skirt. The D'Orsay styling is always a favorite of mine and the patent leather strap and silver toned hardware give them just the tiniest bit of an edge. How adorable would these be paired with a pencil skirt. Perfect for the office or a night out on the town.

Unless you've been exiled to Siberia I'm sure you know that over the knee boots are THE hot item for fall. I love them and wish beyond all that is holy I could actually wear them. However as a 5'2" woman who carries the majority of her height in her torso that, my dear readers, will never happen. But lucky for you I can blog about them and here are my top two picks.

Nine West - Husky

This is a gorgeous boot and the flat styling will ensure you won't be making a Pretty Woman of yourself. The back features grommets and a tassel tie detail and the pretty taupe hue will help make these your go to boot of the season.

Zip Over the Knee Boots - Stuart Weitzman

Ugh. Man. Now these... these I love. That Stuart Weitzman is such a frigging genius. This is one of the few heeled pairs that I think doesn't look like it belongs on Hollywood Boulevard. This is helped by the smoky slate color and stacked 3.5 inch heel. The stacked heel is key. I love, love, love the zipper going up the length of the shaft. Oh to be tall and leggy ... le sigh...

Malin Pump - Report Signature

So many delightfully key details here. This is a shoe that will guarantee you stand out from the crowd. I absolutely adore how the silver studs dotting the vamp and heel look like they are threaded along the seams. The best part about this pump is the style. Absolutely work appropriate but with an edge. I love the mix of suede and leather, the pointed toe, and I DIE over that jagged edge detail at the heel. Simply stunning.

Lace Me Up

So, so, sorry I've been such a lame ass blogger. I'm exhausted. Which is funny since I'm coming off my second 4 day weekend in a row. I don't know what's going on with me but I'm just feeling a little blah. It's ridiculous, really. Let's perk up shall we?

Oh man I think I found just the shoe to do it. A perfectly pretty peep toe designed to bring out the inner girlie girl in all of us. I mean if a bow and lace won't do it then I don't know what will. Not only are these girlie but they are tres sexy too. Add in that 4 inch stiletto heel and 1 inch platform and you can let your inner vixen shine through. Think I just might have to have these.

I love the bold, almost extreme, cut out and the side zipper gives them even more of an edge. A gorgeous suede upper combines with a 1/4 inch platform and 4 and 1/4 inch heel. Hmmm... for some reason I am finding myself inexplicably drawn to western style booties as evidenced here and now, well, below. I mean I am a mid-western girl so perhaps it's ingrained in the deepest confines of my inner fashionista psyche.

Each one is equally feminine in form. I love the cone shaped heel on the Betsey Johnson pair, the thick platform, and oh so rich magenta hue. I am hoping the color on the SM is more similar to this one. The ankle strap, the peep toe, and of course the perfectly shaped rose at the vamp all but screams "I am woman, hear me roar!" I also love the vintage 40's feel these have. Oh man, decisions... decisions...
